Table of Contents:
When Is Spring In Korea 2025
Spring season usually takes place between March to June, but you can expect to see cherry blossoms between end-March to late-April.
So if you’re planning a trip, that’s the best time to visit Korea for cherry blossoms!
Korea’s Spring Weather
The weather is the best part! Daytime temperatures can reach as high as 25°C, which is a comfortable temperature to most of us. However, the temperature can fall to as low as 1°C at night, so remember to pack accordingly.
It will be largely sunny, but there may be light winds and occasional rain in the early half. Prepare umbrellas if you can.
Tip: What to wear during spring. We recommend long sleeves, light-weight sweaters and long pants. Bring a lined or padded jacket if you can. If you’re sensitive to the cold, a thin heattech works too!
The weather turns warmer during mid-end April (closer to 25°C), with some reports saying it might be T-shirt warm.
Korea Cherry Blossom Forecast 2025
The cherry blossom forecast for this year hasn’t been officially announced yet (as of 17 February), but we have the 2024 forecast for reference!
Cherry blossoms usually start blooming from the Southern region to the Northern region, starting from Jeju in late-March before moving to Busan and finally to Seoul.
The time it takes for cherry blossoms to reach its peak can be as fast as 3 to 4 days, so add a few days to the predicted blooming date when planning a trip to Korea for cherry blossoms!
Where To See Cherry Blossoms In Korea
The highlight of spring are undoubtedly cherry blossoms (봄꽃)! These pink or white flowers are stunning in full bloom, creating perfect photo ops or a sight to enjoy.
They bloom all over the country and we’ve compiled a list of the best places to see cherry blossoms in Korea.
