Quick answer: STING Energy Boost™ is PepsiCo’s fizzy energy drink and the Official Energy Drink of Formula 1® from 2026. It is newly launched in Singapore and is on the ground at the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2026, held from 9 to 11 October 2026 at the Marina Bay Street Circuit. Racegoers can find it at selected food and beverage vendors, served chilled in STING-branded cups. It comes in two flavours, Berry Blast and Gold Rush, and contains caffeine, taurine, ginseng and vitamins B3, B6 and B12.
A night race asks a lot of the people watching it. Gates open in the afternoon, the cars run after dark, the concerts go on past that, and somewhere in between you’ve walked half of Marina Bay in the heat.
That’s the gap STING is aiming at this year. The drink is new to Singapore, new to Formula 1®, and it’s hard to miss at the circuit, where its name hangs over the track itself.
What Is STING Energy Boost™?
STING Energy Boost™ is a carbonated energy drink made by PepsiCo. It’s already a big name across Southeast Asia and markets such as India, Pakistan, Egypt and Vietnam, and it has only just launched in Singapore.
The brand’s pitch is simple: bold taste and an energising fizz. Each can contains caffeine, taurine and ginseng, plus vitamins B3, B6 and B12.
What Flavours Does STING Come In?
There are two flavours in Singapore:
- Berry Blast, in the red can
- Gold Rush, in the gold can
STING describes both as carrying its distinctive bold taste and refreshing fizz.
STING Is The Official Energy Drink Of Formula 1®
STING became the Official Energy Drink of Formula 1® in 2026, as part of a multi-year global partnership between PepsiCo and Formula 1 that runs until 2030.
For STING, the 2026 season is its first on the grid, which makes this its debut Singapore Grand Prix.
Where Can You Find STING At The Singapore Grand Prix 2026?
STING holds pouring rights at the Singapore race and has a presence across the weekend. Here’s where it shows up.
At the beverage bars. STING is sold through selected food and beverage vendors inside the circuit. It’s poured chilled into STING-branded cups, co-branded with the F1 logo and #SingaporeGP, so you won’t be handed a can at the bar.
As a mixer. Adults can also choose to have STING as a mixer with selected alcohol at the bars.
In the Paddock. Guests in the Formula 1 Paddock get the showpiece: a refrigerator styled like a fuel pump, stocked with limited-edition STING Formula 1 cans. These are for Paddock guests, so most ticket holders won’t come across them.
Around the track. STING’s branding runs along the circuit barriers and on an overhead banner across the track.
What Else Is STING Doing For Race Season?
Singapore is one half of a regional push. Across the Causeway, PepsiCo is running a race-season campaign in Malaysia called “F1® Sounds Like STING”, with fan activations, limited-edition F1-themed packs and an F1-inspired anthem, “The Sting Within Me”, made with producer Alan Walker.
