TLDR: The Coconut Club, the Michelin Bib Gourmand nasi lemak restaurant, is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a series of local collaborations! Highlights include a Wacky Wears merch capsule with T-shirts ($45) and tote bags ($30), a festive pastry box with Chef Maira Yeo from 44, and a Braised Duck with Buah Beluak Curry ($29) co-created with New Station Rice Bar, available at Beach Road until 31 December.
The Coconut Club opened on Ann Siang Hill in 2016 as a restaurant built around one dish: nasi lemak. A decade later, it currently operates three outlets at Beach Road, Siglap and New Bahru.
For its tenth year, it chose to celebrate with other local food names, teaming up with hawkers, chefs and homegrown brands whose work it has long admired.
What’s Happening For The Coconut Club’s 10th Anniversary?
The Coconut Club’s 10th anniversary runs from October to December 2026. It covers a merch capsule, a festive pastry box and a rotating hawker residency.

What Is Yes, Chef!?
Yes, Chef! is a rotating hawker residency at The Coconut Club Beach Road. For each edition, a guest hawker or chef teams up with Chef Marcus Leow, Executive Chef of The Coconut Club, to create one new dish together.
That dish then stays on the Beach Road menu for around two months before the next guest takes over.
The series is meant to let hawkers cook the dish they’ve always wanted to make, free from the price expectations and kitchen limits that usually come with a casual stall. “I think some of the best Singaporean food hasn’t been cooked yet,” said Leow.

New Station Rice Bar is the first guest, from 24 October to 31 December.
New Station Rice Bar is a contemporary zi char eatery run by chef-owner Chloe Tan. She grew up with the cooking at her family’s New Station Snack Bar, and at the Rice Bar she turns those flavours into one-plate rice bowls that keep the old-school comfort but add a modern touch.
Its signature is a dark soy-braised duck, which became the starting point for this collab.
Three more collaborations will follow, though their dates have yet to be announced:
- Keng Eng Kee Seafood: a family-run zi char institution founded in the 1970s, now led by its third generation and recognised in the MICHELIN Guide
- No. 25 Minced Meat Noodle: a Bukit Merah bak chor mee stall run by young hawkers Lam Geng Han and Chelsea Goh, known for its long queues
- Cuba: a home-based kitchen by Chef Nazrin Shah that revives family heritage recipes through pop-ups, including a hand-assembled nasi ulam
The Coconut Club x New Station Rice Bar Collab

The collab dish is the Braised Duck with Buah Keluak Curry ($29), a sharing plate that brings together a signature from each kitchen.
The Buah Keluak curry is made with The Coconut Club’s Rempah. The sambal is New Station’s ginger and dried shrimp sambal, lifted with starfruit and green tomatoes, two staples of The Coconut Club’s cooking, which are charred over an open flame and pickled.
The duck was extremely tender and was not gamey at all. The curry was fragrant, with a savoury flavour and a tinge of sweetness, akin to Japanese curry. Paired with the soft, rich duck, it was a really satisfying combination.
The portion was reasonable too, and easily enough to share between two people.
The Coconut Club x Wacky Wears Merch

The Coconut Club has teamed up with homegrown apparel label Wacky Wears on a capsule collection, featuring T-shirts ($45), Tote Bags ($30) and stickers.
The designs riff on the restaurant’s goal of making Singaporean food “so good it’s out of this world”.
The T-shirts and totes are now available at the Beach Road and New Bahru outlets in limited quantities, while stickers are given out free.
Festive Pastry Box With Chef Maira Yeo

To close out the anniversary, The Coconut Club has also reunited with pastry chef Maira Yeo, who was named Asia’s Best Pastry Chef in 2022.
The Coconut Club’s Managing Partner, Daniel Sia, first met her at 28 Ann Siang Hill, the address that later became The Coconut Club’s second home.
The festive pastry collection comes in two boxes, Makan This ($46) and Makan That ($44), each with its own mix of six sweet and savoury bakes.
Among them are pumpkin and curry leaf galettes, ragi-roselle financiers made with finger millet and roselle, and pulut hitam cakes inspired by the black glutinous rice dessert. Makan All ($86) gets you both boxes.
Sold separately, Yeo’s Crackly Chocolate Brookies ($32), one of her most popular bakes, are also making a return.
Pre-orders are open on The Coconut Club’s website, for delivery or collection at the Siglap outlet, from 20 November to 27 December!
