Spruce Petite is a newly opened restaurant in Katong with a dual brunch-dinner concept that caters to both crowds! Best part? Its pet-friendly!
Spruce Petite Menu
The brunch menu, which is exclusively available on weekends and public holidays, features items like Smoky Salmon Benny ($13) and vegetarian Swiss MR and Avo Toast ($12).
For dinner, enjoy dishes such as Cheeky Beef ($15) and Baby Back Ribs ($13). Additionally, Spruce Petite serves a range of alcoholic drinks, from cocktails like the Lychee Martini ($15) and Graveyard ($23), to beer, wine, and spirits.
Brunch Menu
The new Smoky Pork Sausage and Hash ($12) features chunks of sausage and potato topped with a sous vide egg. The egg added a nice creaminess to complement the savoury sausage.
However, we felt it could be more heavily seasoned for a better flavour. We liked the side of toasted focaccia, which carried the hash quite well.
The Chicky Toast ($10) stood out the most among all the items we tried. The crispy homemade focaccia was the perfect base for the creamy chicken salad and crunchy veggies. It tasted healthy but flavourful, good for a simple meal.
Dinner Menu
We tried their 19EC Hot Wings ($10) with 5 crispy wings coated in their homemade hot sauce. The wings were crunchy on the outside with a juicy centre! The hot sauce wasn’t overly spicy and paired well with the freshly squeezed lime adding a pleasant zestiness.
Another dinner item is the Green Tiger Prawn Pasta ($13) with homemade zucchini and spinach sauce. While it was enjoyable, it could be more flavorful as it fell flat. The Orecchiette pasta had a good texture, catching all the sauce.
The Truffle Fries ($10) were crispy with a nice savouriness, though it could do with a stronger truffle flavour.
