Quick answer: Loulouca is a dessert-only atelier at 6 Ann Siang Hill, Singapore 069787, which opened on 29 July 2026. It’s the first solo venture from chef-owner Louisa Lim, who led the pastry programme at three-MICHELIN-starred Odette for seven years and was named Asia’s Best Pastry Chef 2023. The 20-seat space runs as a pâtisserie and café from 11am to 6pm, with four entremets priced $14 to $16 and ice cream from $7, then becomes a seated dessert restaurant from 7pm to 11pm with four à la carte plated desserts priced $28 to $35, each offered with an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink pairing. It’s open Wednesday to Sunday, serves no savoury food, and takes evening reservations via SevenRooms.
Most restaurants make you sit through three courses before the good part. Loulouca skips them entirely.
The dessert-only atelier opened on Ann Siang Hill on 29 July 2026, and it’s the first solo project from Louisa Lim, the pastry chef who spent seven years running the programme at three-MICHELIN-starred Odette before leaving in March. There is no savoury menu. There are no mains. It is, deliberately, just dessert.
We dropped in during the daytime café service and worked through three of the four entremets. Here’s the full menu with prices, what to order, and how the daytime service compares to the evening one.
What Is Loulouca?
Loulouca is a 20-seat dessert atelier that operates as two different venues in the same room.
From 11am to 6pm, it’s a pâtisserie and café. Four entremets, house-made ice cream, coffee and tea are available for dine-in or takeaway.
From 7pm to 11pm, it becomes a seated dessert restaurant. Guests order à la carte from a short menu of plated desserts built around seasonal fruit and watch them being assembled at an open plating counter.
Who Is Louisa Lim?
Louisa Lim is Loulouca’s chef-owner, and her credentials are unusually stacked for a first solo opening.
She trained at Le Cordon Bleu Paris, staged in Japan, and led the pastry programme at Odette for seven years, stepping away in March 2026. She was named Asia’s Best Pastry Chef 2023 by Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants, and Best Pastry Chef at the Tatler Best Asia Awards 2024.
Where Is Loulouca?
Loulouca is at 6 Ann Siang Hill, Singapore 069787, in the shophouse cluster above Club Street.
The nearest MRT is Maxwell (TE18) on the Thomson-East Coast Line, about a five-minute walk. Telok Ayer (DT18) and Chinatown (NE4/DT19) are both within roughly ten minutes.
It’s open Wednesday to Sunday, 11am–6pm and 7pm–11pm. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays. While walk-ins are accepted, we highly recommend making reservations if you’re thinking of trying their evening menu.
Loulouca Daytime Menu And Prices
There are four entremets ranging from $14 to $16.
| Entremet | Price | What’s in it |
|---|---|---|
| Loulouca | $16 | A take on tiramisu: buckwheat tea and Vanuatu vanilla with coffee praline, soft maple crèmeux and a reconstructed pecan sablé. |
| Cacao | $15 | An unapologetically decadent chocolate cake, layered with airy, creamy and crisp elements. |
| Matcha Pistachio Kaya | $14 | A Paris-Brest reimagined with Singaporean flavours. A crisp choux pastry filled with pandan, kaya, coconut and roasted pistachios. |
| Tropical Exotic | $14 | Mango, passionfruit and pineapple with coconut and jasmine pearl tea. |
Ice cream and affogato are the cheap entry point: a single scoop is $7, a double $11, and an affogato $8. Flavours on our visit were sobacha (roasted buckwheat tea) and pistachio.
Drinks
Worth knowing before you go, because the drinks are priced well below what the pastry might lead you to expect.
| Drink | Price |
|---|---|
| Espresso | $4 |
| Long Black | $5 |
| Piccolo (single shot) | $6 |
| Cappuccino, Flat White, Latte (double shot) | $7 |
| Matcha Tea | $7 |
| Matcha Latte | $7.50 |
| Teas: Lychee Oolong, Pu’jicha, Silver Needle, Sweet Dreams (decaf) | $10 |
| Still or sparkling water | $3 |
| Soft drinks: Coke Zero, Sprite, Ginger Ale | $6 |
Add-ons: iced +$0.50, additional shot +$1, oat milk +$1.
The matcha is first-harvest from Shizuoka and Kagoshima. The tea list is short but specific. The Pu’jicha blends pu’erh and hojicha with caramel notes, Silver Needle is a Fujian white tea from unopened buds, and Sweet Dreams is a decaf rooibos, lavender and cornflower blend.
What We Tried
We worked through three of the four entremets, everything except the Tropical Exotic.
Loulouca ($16)

This is probably the signature entremet, named after the shop. It’s Louisa’s take on tiramisu, with elements like buckwheat tea and Vanuatu vanilla with coffee praline, soft maple crèmeux and a reconstructed pecan sablé. We’re honestly unsure if it contains hazelnut, but there’s a component that tastes almost like a hazelnut butter.
Our favourite item here.
Cacao ($15)

The Cacao is made for chocolate lovers, with an intense, rich chocolate flavour that’s not overpowering, making you want to reach for a cup of water immediately. The texture is insanely smooth and the different layers create a harmonious bite.
Matcha Pistachio Kaya ($14)

We thought the individual components of the Matcha Pistachio Kaya shone on their own. But when eaten together, as it’s intended, we felt the kaya slightly overpowered the matcha component. The pistachio center is nutty and rich, but the overall balance might need some adjustments.
We didn’t try the Tropical Exotic ($14), so we can’t tell you how it tastes, but it’s the mango, passionfruit and pineapple option if tropical fruit is your thing.
What’s On The Evening Menu?

We visited during the day, so we haven’t tasted these. The details below come from the printed evening menu.
The evening menu is short and deliberate: four plated desserts, finished to order at the plating counter. Prices run $28 to $35, and each dessert comes with a suggested pairing, in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions.
| Dessert | Price | What’s in it | Pairing (alc / non-alc) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tiramisu | $28 | Sobacha ice cream with coffee-doused biscuit cuillère, coffee praline, caramelised pecans and a buckwheat tuile. | Bauget-Jouette Brut NV / +/– Blanc de Blanc |
| Strawberry | $30 | Alpine Mara des Bois strawberries with crème fraîche, lemon curd, sorrel, yoghurt sorbet and strawberry compote, enrobed in a crisp gavotte shell. | Bourgogne Rouge / +/– Pinot Noir |
| Shizuoka Melon | $32 | Encased in a matcha meringue shell: Vanuatu vanilla mousse, lime and mint jelly, watercress and mint ice cream, with Granny Smith apple, olive oil and lime zest alongside. | Riesling Kabinett / Muri Passing Clouds |
| Yamanashi Peach | $35 | Yamanashi peach with blackberries, yoghurt sorbet, Earl Grey chantilly, rose jelly and a pillowy meringue. | Château Roubine Rosé / Acala Red |
Pairing prices aren’t printed on the menu, so ask when you book if that matters to your budget.
Because the menu is anchored to seasonal Japanese fruit, expect the line-up to rotate. The melon and peach in particular are tied to short growing seasons/summer.
Day Or Night: Which Should You Book?
| Day (11am–6pm) | Evening (7pm–11pm) | |
|---|---|---|
| Format | Pâtisserie & café counter | Seated dessert restaurant |
| What you get | Four entremets, ice cream, coffee, tea | Four plated desserts, finished to order, with drink pairings |
| Price | $14–$16 per entremet; $18–$23 with a drink | $28–$35 per plated dessert |
| Takeaway | Yes | No |
| Booking | Walk-in friendly | Reserve via SevenRooms |
| Best for | Trying the style before committing; an afternoon stop | A proper dessert outing or occasion |
If it’s your first visit, go in the day. At $14–$16 you can try two entremets and a coffee for less than one evening plate, and it’s the low-risk way to find out whether this style of pastry is for you before booking a table.
Go in the evening if you want the actual experience — the plated desserts only exist at night and takeaway isn’t available for the evening menu.

Things To Know Before You Go
- Eat first. There is no savoury food at Loulouca. No snack, no cheese board. If you book the 7pm seating, have dinner beforehand.
- It’s 20 seats. Book ahead for evenings rather than assuming you can walk in.
- The daytime counter is genuinely affordable. A cake and coffee are $18–$23, which is okay considering the quality of pastry at this level.
- The evening is a different budget. Two plated desserts are $56–$70 before pairings. Closer to a proper dinner than a dessert stop.
- Non-drinkers are properly catered for. Every evening dessert has a non-alcoholic pairing, not an afterthought soft drink.
- Closed Monday and Tuesday, which catches people out on quiet-night dessert plans.
- Only four entremets, and they rotate. If a specific one is why you’re going, check Instagram first.
- Ice cream flavours change too. Sobacha and pistachio on our visit, though Earl Grey has also been reported.
For context on where this sits: it’s a similar bracket to the dessert courses at places like Blue Box Cafe, except dessert is the whole proposition rather than the last course.
How Do You Book Loulouca?
Evening reservations are through SevenRooms, linked from the Loulouca website.
The daytime café is walk-in friendly, though the 20-seat room means weekend afternoons can fill. Menu changes go up on Instagram at @loulouca.co.
