Matcha has Singaporeans in a chokehold and we’re here to add fuel to the fire with more matcha offerings for this month! arc-en-ciel is partnering with local matcha brand Matsu Matcha for a special menu that’s only available for the next 2 weeks of August.
arc-en-ciel x Matcha Matsu Menu
This collaboration menu will be available until 24 August 2025, and are the only items available at arc-en-ciel until then. It’s a full menu takeover!
All the items feature matcha from Matsu Matcha (@matsu_matcha), a small business offering curated, premium matcha selections straight from local tea farms in Japan.
Matcha Drinks
There are 3 drinks: Ceremonial Grade Matcha Latte ($9.50), Matcha Yuzu Sparkling ($11) and Matcha Black Sesame Kinako Latte ($11).
Of the three, our pick is the Matcha Yuzu Sparkling, with its refreshing, tangy notes.
The Matcha Latte was good too, but please note that it’s sweetened (for those who prefer it without sugar). The sesame latte, on the other hand, needed more sesame.
Matcha Desserts
The dessert menu has four treats, starting with the ornate Laila ($30), a mango matcha parfait. It came with a mango ‘flower’ and a base of matcha ice cream, mango and cream.
This was sweet, tart and complemented by the umami of the matcha!
Our second favourite was the Genmaru ($7.80), a Genmaicha swiss roll with a not-too-sweet roasted tea flavour.
You can also try the Nanako ($13), a matcha twist on a Mont Blanc and the Natsuko ($5.50) matcha cheese tart with mochi.
Matcha In Singapore
Having tried Matsu Matcha for ourselves before, we can vouch for the quality of their matcha! arc-en-ciel brings their sweet dessert expertise that highlighted matcha in different sweet treats that are perfect for weekend tea times.
