It can be hard to find third places in Singapore – community-centric areas where people can gather freely – but we might have just found a good contender! The TRIFECTA Riders’ Lounge in Somerset serves this exact purpose, providing a welcoming space for the community.
Modern, Aesthetic Interior
The Riders’ Lounge was created for TRIFECTA’s surf, swim and skate community, but it’s open to everyone!
The interior is the pinnacle of aesthetics. It boasts wooden walls, hanging lantern lights and mid-modern century furniture, complete with plants and trinkets that represent the community.
The space is designed for comfort and conversation, with some cool additions!
Live Sound & Vinyl Bar
Right at the front of the space is a vinyl DJ booth, playing a curated list of vinyl records ranging from R&B, hip-hop and jazz. These vinyls are available for purchase as well!
They also host monthly themed music nights, presenting different genres. Check out upcoming sessions here.
Hanging Gallery By Leica
There is also a hanging photograph gallery by Lecia, capturing images of memories in the snow or sea. It added a nice personality to the space and was on theme!
Yeastside Menu
No hangout space is complete with food, and Yeastside is bringing their full menu of sourdough pizzas, beers and more.
Try the Foursome with Honey ($21) using a four-cheese mix, or the Prosciutto & Arugula ($24) with housemade tomato sauce.
We also tried sides like the Crispy Mid Wings ($8) and Let’s Caulihummus ($16) with roasted cauliflower. These are perfect for sharing!
They also have focaccia sandwiches like the Bestside Sandwich ($15) with maple bacon and egg mayo and Mr. Crabs ($18) with chunky crab meat! These are available only until 2 pm daily.
There’s also a list of beers on tap, coffee and matcha for those who fancy drinks. Check out the full menu here!
Hang Out Space In Somerset
With a combination of good food, good music and good vibes, the Riders’ Lounge has created a perfect spot for relaxing hangouts with friends and fellow hobbyists (whether you surf, swim, skate or not)!
