Old Seng Choong is a family-owned brand headed by pastry chef Daniel Tay and they have released their Chinese New Year specials with treats like bak kwa, pineapple tarts and more!
Old Seng Choong CNY 2023
The selection begins with their signature pineapple tarts in three flavour variations – Original ($38.80 for 12), Bak Kwa ($45.80 for 12) and their newest flavour Lychee Rose ($42.80) with a pretty pink pastry.
All the pineapple tarts feature a buttery, fragrant pastry enveloping homemade pineapple jam for that satisfying bite. Each flavour even comes in different shapes, from a gold ingot to a lychee fruit. For the best of all the flavours, go for a box of Assorted Pineapple Tarts ($42.80 for 12 pieces) that comes with four pieces of all three flavours.
They also offer Truffle Bak Kwa ($48.80 for 480g), coated in Old Seng Choong’s secret marinade, black truffle and truffle oil for a luxurious bak kwa eating experience.
Gifting Set Options
There are gift sets available, each featuring Old Seng Choong’s signature items. The Cookie Gift Set ($32.80) comes with six of their best-selling cookie flavours: Bak Kut Teh, Satay, Cereal Prawn, Pandan Coconut, Gula Melaka and Chocolate Orange Seasalt.
For something grander, choose from one of the three Exquisite Hampers (from $168) that has cookies, abalone, ginseng and even a bottle of wine! The options range from Good Fortune Hamper ($168) to Blooming Prosperity ($388) so there’s something for everyone.
