Always wanted to try YUN NANS Stonepot Fish, but not particularly inclined to fish? You’re in luck – they have released a new Stonepot Chicken Soup with Pig’s Stomach!
YUN NANS Stonepot Chicken Broth
The Stonepot Chicken Soup with Pig’s Stomach ($39.80++ for Regular, $68.80++ for Large) is made with a special breed of free-range Kabir chicken that’s more tender and sweet.
All the ingredients are pressure-cooked for 8 minutes under their signature straw cone ‘hat’ with the special soup base that’s been boiled for over 6 hours.
It’s seasoned with Hainanese peppercorn and ingredients like ginseng, red date and the famous Yun Nan golden fungus.
The broth was creamy and sweet with a hint of spice from the pepper that’s just enough to warm you up. It’s not as pungent or spicy as regular pig stomach soups!
You can enjoy the chicken pieces and pig stomach slices within the broth, or add on other a la carte dishes like the unique Yun Nan Highland White Corn.
Hearty Main Dishes
YUN NANS Stonefish also has a regular hot food menu if you fancy something more substantial.
Their new additions include the Deep-Fried Crispy Shrimp Heads ($9.90++), seasoned in an addictive house-made spice mix.
There’s also the savoury Stir-Fried Chayote Leaves with Soy Bean Sauce ($15.90++) and their YUN NANS Signature Fried Rice ($8.80++) made with a blend of three different soy sauces.
