TLDR: Wenzhou Mansion is Singapore’s first Jiangsu-Zhejiang fine-dining restaurant dedicated to Wenzhou cuisine, open daily in Tanjong Pagar from 11.30am to 2.30pm and 5.30pm to 10pm. Standout dishes include the Large East China Sea Yellow Croaker with Scallion Oil ($158/$398) and the Shredded Chicken with Jellyfish ($68), with à la carte prices across the menu ranging from around $25 to $398.
Wenzhou Mansion opened in Tanjong Pagar in August 2025 as Singapore’s first restaurant built entirely around Wenzhou cuisine, the coastal cooking style from southern Zhejiang. The ambience is nice, featuring a darker, elegant, and private feel that gives off a fine-dining feel.
What Is Wenzhou Mansion?
Wenzhou Mansion is a restaurant in Singapore dedicated specifically to Wenzhou cuisine, curated by Li Chuhua, an officially recognised Intangible Cultural Heritage inheritor of the style. Expect a lot of East China Sea seafood, home-style braising, and raw or lightly cured dishes. Dine-in and takeaway are both available.
The space is beautifully renovated, with dark wood accents throughout, a spacious main hall on the ground floor, and seven private rooms upstairs for groups. Service matches that, with staff taking initiative to ensure that customers had a comfortable dining experience.

What We Ate
Large East China Sea Yellow Croaker with Scallion Oil (from $158)

This was the best dish we had! The fish was fresh, tender, and had no fishiness. It’s lightly steamed and finished with a fragrant scallion oil that goes perfectly with the fish, and is especially good when eaten with rice.
If you only order one thing at Wenzhou Mansion, make it this.
Shredded Chicken with Jellyfish ($68)

The combination of jellyfish and chicken created a satisfying, slightly crunchy texture. It was dressed in a savoury, umami sauce, enjoyable on its own or with other dishes.
Melon with 5J Wagyu Ham

Made with Wagyu ham cured in Wenzhou, the meat was smoky and buttery. The fresh melon helped balance out any richness with a slight crunch and sweetness.
Another good start is the Sliced Wenzhou Kailan ($28), a cold, pickled kailan stem dressed sweet and sour, though it tasted closer to a regular plate of pickled vegetables than anything distinctly Wenzhou.
Wenzhou Fish Ball & Pork Wonton Soup (from $35)

The soup was packed full of flavour, standing out compared to a normal wonton soup. It was served with condiments – pepper, fish sauce and extra spring onion – you can add to adjust the flavour.
The wontons complemented the soup well too, alongside tender slivers of fish that were sweet and bouncy.
These soups are served in single-person portions. Other soup options include the Tomato Sour Soup with whole octopus.
Steamed Minced Pork with Crab ($378)

The patty was well-seasoned, and the pork mince was fatty and rich, best enjoyed with rice. However, we felt the crab itself lacked sweetness and didn’t contribute much to the overall flavour we’d hoped for.
Crispy Pork Ribs with Candied Preserved Plum

The ribs were flavourful, though bonier than usual and had lost some of their crispness from being soaked in the plum sauce. Ribs in this style are typically fried then coated in a thick plum sauce, which softens the crisp exterior, likely by design rather than a miss on execution.
The Desserts We Tried

Glutinous Rice Ball with Water Chestnut Dessert ($12)
This dessert features tang yuan (glutinous rice balls) in a viscous water chestnut sauce, light and appetising on its own. However, we felt that the corn didn’t add much to the dish. Still, it’s a classic Chinese dessert that’s easy on the stomach and not too sweet.
Tofu Pudding with Candied Nut Powder ($12)
Served cold, the tofu was sweet and not overpowering, with candied nut powder that enhanced the flavour of the otherwise plain tofu. The dish would still work great with a tad less powder but regardless it is one we’d order again.
Is Wenzhou Mansion Worth A Visit?
Yes, especially for celebrations or a group dinner where you can order across the menu. The Yellow Croaker alone makes the trip worth it, backed up by the Shredded Chicken with Jellyfish and the Fish Ball & Pork Wonton Soup.
That’s matched by the regal and elevated setting and attentive service. Prices do run steep but it shows in the quality of ingredients and the care that goes into the dining experience.
