There’s an exciting culinary collaboration at the end of this month! Chef Dee Chan of The Black Pearl and Chef Choi Hyun Seok from Culinary Class Wars are partnering for a 2-night-only four-hands menu collaboration with Korean and Cantonese flavours.
What Is The Black Pearl x Choi Hyun Seok Collaboration Menu?

The collaboration menu ($268++) is an eight-course menu by Chef Dee Chan and Chef Choi Hyun Seok, presenting Korean and Cantonese fusion.
The menu will only be available from 30 June and 1 July 2026, three lunch seatings (11.45am, 12.30pm, and 1.15pm) and three dinner seatings (6.00pm, 6.45pm, and 7.30pm) daily.
Each seating will be limited to 20 guests to ensure a more intimate and immersive dining experience. Reservations are required via Whatsapp (+65 3138 4315 / +65 8205 6611), with dinner slots already sold out.

The menu features both chef’s respective culinary backgrounds. Highlights include Chef Choi’s Hanwoo Beef Tartare and Spiced Cod ‘Maeun-Tang’, reimagining a traditional Korean spiced fish stew.

Meanwhile, Chef Dee’s Cantonese background shines in dishes like the decadent Imperial Deep-Fried Shark’s Fin Soup and 7-Day Aged Roasted Duck Breast with blood orange and duck rillettes on toast.
Other exciting bites to look forward to are Tri-Colour ‘Namul’ – a traditional Korean banchan side dish – and Iberico Char Siew Puff Pastry; and a Seafood Albap, layering seaweed crackers with shrimp, bisque, rice and caviar.
