Seafood Paradise is introducing a limited-time collab with Ms. Maria & Mr. Singh, the casual offshoot restaurant by Chef Gaggan Anand.
Bringing together Singapore-style seafood dishes together with Indian-Mexican influences, the limited-time menu will officially launch from 1 November 2023.
Singapore-Style Food x Indian Mexican Flavours?
You can expect dishes like the Grilled Squid served with Salsa Taquera ($28.90++), cooked to tender perfection. The smoky flavours from the grilled squid paired amazingly with the refreshing tartness of Mexican salsa taquera.
An amazing way to start of the experience is to go for the Fresh Jumbo Canadian Oyster with Salsa Taquera, Pickled Shallots and Tobiko ($12.90++ per pc, min order of 2pcs). Imagine plump Canadian oysters paired with the crunch of pickled shallots and piquant salsa taquera dressing – all the flavours exploding in your mouth with just one bite!
The Baked Jade Perch with Tamale Masala Sauce wrapped in Banana Leaf ($68.90++) was such an interesting combo. Despite the flavourful sauce, the buttery and tender meat of the Jade Perch was not overshadowed, one of our favourite dishes for this collab.
However, the best dish was definitely Gaggan’s Crab Curry with Seafood Paradise Creamy Butter Mud Crab topped with Coconut Crumbs ($128++)! Phew, what a name. The creaminess of the sauce might feel cloying, but the slight spice makes you go back for more and you just can’t help but dip more deep-fried mantous into the sauce!
There’s also the Stir-Fried Live Tiger Prawn with Gaggan’s Crab Curry Base ($29.90++) alongside the Seafood Paradise Mee Goreng with Ms. Maria. & Mr. Singh’s Masala served with Papadum ($25.90++), with the latter being slightly too sweet for our liking.
These dishes will be available from 1 Nov to 17 Dec 2023. From 1 to 5 November, Citi, Maybank Debit or Credit Cardmembers and PGR members can enjoy these dishes at 30% off, available at Seafood Paradise outlets at VivoCity and Clarke Quay.
