Quick Greens is a vegan quick-serve concept in Singapore that aims to serve delicious 100% plant-based wraps, salads, and burgers. The market for vegan food has been increasing with more people adopting a flexitarian diet or even going completely vegan.
Quick-Serve Healthy Food in City Hall
The quick-serve concept outlet is located on the 2nd floor of Funan Mall, with a bright interior that’s decorated with neon signs. There aren’t many seats at the 14-seater over at Quick Greens Funan, so taking out is also a viable option.
Much like a fast-food restaurant, you simply order what you want at the counter or make use of the self-serving kiosks. If not you can order via their website in real-time as well.
Menu at Quick Greens
The menu at Quick Greens is simple, simply choose between Wraps or Bowls. There are various combinations here, such as Chip Chip Chipotle, which features a Vegan Kebab, various vegetables, and a chipotle dressing.
There’s also Kung Fu’d, which is vegan kibbeh paired together with Brown Rice, Lettuce, Tomato, French Beans, Fava, Radish, Mushroom Porcini, Garlic Pickle, Crispy Shallots, And Ginger Soy Dressing.
Quick Greens also has 3 burgers to choose from which use vegan patties and vegan cheese.
Laksa, Lah!
We opted for the Laksa, Lah! ($13.80) in the form of a bowl. It came with a Vegan Kebab, Quinoa, Lettuce, Beet, Carrot, Cucumber, Edamame, Roasted Peppers Mushroom And Porcini Garlic Pickle, Puffed Quinoa, And A Vegan Laksa Dressing.
While most people have a perception of vegan food to be bland and tasteless, the Vegan Kebab in this bowl was really flavourful! With what seemed to be a combination of spices, the Vegan Kebab really helped add a punch of flavors to the entire bowl of veggies.
The Vegan Laksa Dressing also had a hint of laksa flavors, which we did hope for more.
Vegan Island Vibe Stack
The Vegan Island Vibe Stack ($15.80) is one of Quick Greens’ 3 burgers. It comprises a Vegan Patty, purple cabbage, carrot pickles, and thousand island sauce.
We enjoyed the Vegan Patty with the crunchy cabbage and carrot, but one thing we did not enjoy was the texture of the bun. It was really tough and hard to bite into, and we gave up trying halfway.
Smoothies
For those that want a more filling meal, you can opt for one of their 2 smoothies, a Cashew Butter Banana Strawberry Smoothie ($9.80) or a Mango Raspberry Oat Mylk Smoothie ($9.80).
A Step Towards Healthy Eating
If you’ve ever wanted to try a Flexitarian diet, Quick Greens offers a flavorful start. However, you might want to opt for the wraps/bowls instead of their burgers.
