With SG60 on the horizon, we’re seeing many unique takes on local cuisine! Anthology has launched a new cocktail and drink menu inspired by familiar Singaporean flavours, with some fun eating experiences.
Locally-Inspired Drinks
The drink menu presents 6 cocktails that represent nostalgic Singaporean beverages!

The most innovative is the Ice Kachang ($38 for 2 pax). Like in the olden days, this was served with shaved ice, red bean, corn and chendol.
There were even colourful syrups! The alcohol comes as Chendol gin served on the side, so you can adjust the amount to add.
This was a fun eating experience and makes for a great bonding activity with good company.
Aside from the appearances, the flavours worked well together, with the ice and sweet toppings mellowing the strong gin.

Another fun one is Kaya Toast ($24), garnished with a mini kaya toast with torched butter. It’s served in the classic kopitiam cup too!
This was another favourite with fragrant coconut notes and a creamy base that captured the kaya toast flavour.

Those who prefer floral or lighter flavours can get Bandung ($22) or Soursop ($24). Bandung is topped with a warm lychee foam, while Soursop is light and refreshing.

There’s also Chng Teng ($26) and Chendol ($26), spirit-forward takes on classic Singaporean desserts.
Food Menu

There are eight accompanying dishes that pay tribute to local foods. The Laksa Tau Pok ($16) was our favourite, with crispy stuffed tau pok puffs in a rich laksa sauce.

Another favourite is the Signature Rendang Ragu ($32). This was rich, spicy and aromatic, making it an indulgent dish. We wished it was served with rice!

There’s also options like Dang Gui Chilled Chicken Breast ($14), Orh Luak with House-made Dressing ($20) and Solefish & Pork Dumplings with Black Garlic ($18).

We liked how the black garlic in the Amoy Street Char Siew ($18) added an umami that elevated the whole dish!

The dessert items are the Goreng Pisang Tart ($15) and Orh Nee ($16), although we’d skip the former.
