Amuse Dessert Co, a new dessert cafe has opened in Tanjong Pagar. The place makes a great spot to grab some coffee or dessert after dining at the Korean restaurants nearby.

Amuse Dessert Co is opened by the people behind The Dark Gallery, who are known for their dark chocolate items.
The cafe consists of white and metallic elements, with 3 sleek booth seats right in front of their counter. The glass divider between the booth seats will probably make you feel safer during this pandemic.
There are not many seats here, so maybe you’ll want to take away some items instead.
Amuse Dessert Co Menu
The dessert cafe sells mainly ice cream, pastries, cakes, macarons, tarts as well as pre-packaged ice cream shortbread.
For pastries, you can look forward to items like the Canele, Mini Pound Cakes, Madeleines and Cookies.
We visited after dinner nearby and most of the items, such as their caneles were sold out.
Strawberry Black Tea Madeleine
The Strawberry Black Tea Madeleine came with a bright pink layer of chocolate. It had a nice tart strawberry flavour, but the black tea flavour wasn’t prominent.
Maple Pecan Madeleine
On the other hand, the Maple Pecan Madeleine had no chocolate layer but had a crispy exterior which we loved. There were also bits of pecan nuts in the madeleine which added a nice crisp to the overall dessert.
Ice Cream
As for ice cream, Amuse Dessert Co has a range of flavours such as Earl Grey Caramel Milk Tea, Manuka Genmaicha, Mint Chocolate and Strawberry Tart. The more interesting flavour would be the Truffle Basque Cheesecake.
We opted for a scoop of the Injeolmi Bingsu Ice Cream ($5.5), which had a strong and intense Injeolmi taste. It came with a small piece of cookie and wasn’t too sweet as well, which we really appreciated.
Dessert in Tanjong Pagar
Amuse Dessert Co will probably make a decent quick stop after meals in Tanjong Pagar for some ice cream and pastries. With their lovely packaging, the pastries will also make great gifts for your friends.
