If you’re an uni lover, you have to check out Morita UNIGORO! The omakase restaurant in Telok Ayer specialises in seasonal seafood airflown from Japan and fresh Hokkaido uni.
For the month of October 2025, they’re offering an attractive 1-for-1 uni omakase promotion!
Morita UNIGORO Uni Omakase Menu
The six-course 1-for-1 menu ($320++ for 2 pax) features a luxurious selection of uni, beef and produce. It’s available for both lunch and dinner, with different seatings.

There is a 1 drink per person order requirement to be eligible for the promotion.
1-For-1 Omakase Menu
The meal begins with Shimaaji Sashimi. This was clean, fatty and appetising, especially with the side of yuzu kosho sauce.
Something interesting was the New “Uniku”- an A5 Wagyu Uchimomo top round sashimi with uni and egg yolk.
It’s lightly torched before serving but left largely rare. The meat was very clean and tender, complemented by the creamy yolk and saltiness of the uni.
We can tell their expertise in uni because the uni quality here is top-notch! Every type used was creamy, savoury but not fishy at all.
It’s served with a small ball of rice to catch all the remaining sauce on the plate, which was quite genius.
The next course is a Kaki Tempura (deep-fried oyster). This was served with peach, which provided a pleasant sweetness to cut through the oiliness.
The main event is the Morita UNIGORO Signature Uni Hotpot, where they whisk uni into a clear seafood broth base.
Ingredients include an indulgent selection of whole abalone, Ise lobster and A5 Wagyu beef ribeye.
This was simple but showcased the quality of their produce; sweet and fresh! The most memorable were the abalone and the ribeye, which basically melted in our mouths.
The broth itself also got increasingly flavourful over the meal, making it super shiok afterwards.
The final savoury source was a chilled Shio Kombu Pasta with caviar and uni. Despite the small portion size, it had a nice umami, complemented by the uni.
We do wish the noodles had a better texture, as it was a bit hard.
The meal ended with a house-made watermelon Granita. This was sweet and a refreshing finish to the experience.
Omakase In Singapore
For the amount of food and ingredient quality, this 1-for-1 promotion by Morita UNIGORO is worth each dollar!
