Premium Japanese Satsuma Wagyu Beef
If you’ve never heard of Satsuma Gyu, it’s a rare type of Wagyu beef raised by elite Japanese farmers with generations of expertise.
Only 3,000 cattle a year meet the strict standards to be certified as Satsuma Gyu, and it’s known for its intense marbling and rich umami flavour. It also won the recent Wagyu Olympics Championship!
This Satsuma Wagyu Set includes a daily rotating selection of six prime cuts. Since the restaurant imports the whole cow, you’ll get to experience a wide variety of textures and flavours depending on the availability.
You can look forward to premium cuts such as Sirloin, Shoulder Loin and Rib Rouse, alongside a variety of specialty cuts.
The beef is also chilled, not frozen, to preserve its creamy flavor and melt-in-your-mouth tenderness.
Satsuma Wagyu Yakiniku Set
We had the meat platter which included cuts like Sirloin, Fillet, Brisket, Rib Shin, Kalbi and Ichibo. As each Satsuma cow is limited and specially sourced, the promotion is only while stocks last!
Our favourite was the Ichibo, with its buttery texture that melted in our mouths.
Another honorable mention is the Fillet, exceptionally tender and full of flavour in every bite.
You can also complete your meal with mains like Bibimbap ($14) and Egg Vegetable Soup ($10).
