Everyone’s beloved hotpot chain restaurant Haidilao celebrates its 10th year in Singapore! They are celebrating their birthday with a limited time only $10-per-dish promotion on selected dishes, plus a new smart outlet in Northshore Plaza that features robotic arms!
Smart Haidilao Outlet At Northshore Plaza
The newest Haidilao outlet is in Punggol, nestled in Northshore Plaza recently opened in April 2022 and is equipped with a sophisticated smart Robot Arm Technology and other super cool automated systems.
Northshore Plaza is their smartest outlet to date, and almost the entire order system is automated. For starters, a series of Robot Arms automatically retrieve the individual dishes with every order. The machines help reduce the probability of human error while also making stock-keeping more efficient.
Each dish is stored in a custom made bowl with an RFID chip that contains all the information – item, amount, expiry date – so staff can easily track the status of the ingredients. The storage room is kept between 0 to 4 degrees to guarantee the freshness!
That’s not all – they even have an automatic soup dispensing system?! With each order, a hotpot is dispensed and filled with soup base ingredients before being filled up with piping hot soup that is then perfectly nestled into your table.
Speaking of the table, there’s also a ventilation system that sucks out all the odours so you don’t leave their restaurant with a strong smell – this is why all their restaurants have a slope at the entrance to make more room for the ventilation pipes! All these smart additions are Haidilao patented technology that were designed to make the most efficient and most comfortable eating experience possible.

And the best birthday gift? From now till 4 December 2022, Haidilao is offering a select number of dishes at only $10 for a full portion! The offerings will rotate every week and will be available at all outlets:
31 October to 6 November: 澳洲羊肩肉 Aussie Lamb Shoulder, 捞派虾滑 Signature Mashed Prawn Paste
7 November to 13 November: 西班牙黑猪肉 Iberico Pork, 捞派滑牛肉 Haidilao Flavored Beef
14 November to 20 November: 墨汁墨鱼丸 Squid Balls In Ink Sauce, 美国肥牛 US Beef
21 November to 27 November: 嫩鱼片 Sliced Fish, 猪颈肉 Pork Jowl
28 November to 4 December: 层层雪狼猪五花 Pork Belly Rolls, 牛肋腹肉 Beef short plate
Pair your Haidilao meal with their series of home brewed beers! You might be surprised, but Haidilao has their own line of award-winning beers, cinching Gold in a German beer competition and winning the recent Asian Beer Championship. The beer itself has 5% alcohol but it tastes extremely light, floral and goes well with their spicy hotpot.
