Uoharu Izakaya is marking its first anniversary with a line-up of special promotions and interactive games! Known for its authentic Japanese fare and lively atmosphere, the izakaya is adding a few extra reasons to drop by this month.

The Egg Slide challenges you to land an egg yolk perfectly on their A5 Wagyu Baguette. If you do, you get a serving (2 pcs) for free!
For a game of luck, try your hand at the Fuku Sticks. You stand to win tokens like free sake shots, chicken wings or a meal for 10 friends all on the house.
Uoharu Izakaya is also running a fun ‘spot your polaroid’ competition. Snap a Polaroid photo and leave it on their wall of fame. If you successfully spot your Polaroid on your next visit, you get a free glass of sake!

There will be a live mochi pounding demonstration, where patrons get to enjoy a complimentary serving of freshly pounded mochi.
This is only on Saturdays and Public Holidays during lunch, so swing by while you can!
Last but not least, don’t miss their fiery Katsuo Warayaki (straw roasting) show, highlighting their iconic Katsuo dishes.
Limited-Time Menu Items
Aside from 11 special sake varieties, Uoharu Izakaya is also offering anniversary-special dishes, starting with the A5 Wagyu Baguette ($16.80 for 2 pcs) with a cured egg yolk.

Seafood lovers will enjoy the Jumbo Sea Tiger Prawn with Mentai Aburi ($26.80) and Premium Seafood Donabe ($29.80), topped with luxurious Japanese seafood like salmon and prawns.
The Beef Bone Marrow with Baguette Toast ($25.80) and Grilled Seasonal Shellfish (3pcs, $38.80) are designed to pair with drinks. We especially enjoyed the sweet scallops!
For something comforting, opt for the Beef Tongue and Daikon Nitsuke ($21.80) or Oden Moriawase (7 kinds, $18.80) to warm up the stomach.
