Savour a taste of heritage with Peppermint’s all-you-can-eat Peranakan Buffet! The buffet is an exclusive collaboration between Peppermint and one-MICHELIN-star restaurant Auntie Gaik Lean’s Old School Eatery from Penang.

Available from now until 30th April 2023, both Peppermint and Auntie Gaik Lean’s Old School Eatery will be offering their own menu selections of hearty and authentic Peranakan dishes.
Chef Beh Gaik Lean of Auntie Gaik Lean’s Old School Eatery is sharing her selection of signature Nyonya dishes like Brinjal Sambal and Kerabu Kacang Botol, a four-angled bean salad.
There is also Nasi Ulam, a rice dish with a traditional Malay Ulam spice seasoning and meaty dishes like Beef Rendang and Curry Kapitan with chicken.
Peppermint’s offerings are from Chef Leon Yee, ranging from classics like Ayam Buah Keluak and Itek Sio, a braised duck dish.
You can also indulge in dishes like Sustainable Crispy Barramundi and crowd favourites Wok Fried Seafood Laksa and Blue Pea Rice Lemak with Spicy Coconut Floss. There are also a selection of familiar sweet treats like Pulut Hitam Cake, Ubi Kayu with Gula Melaka and Ondeh Ondeh Swiss Roll.
Peppermint is also offering a discount! Guests aged 55 years and above can dine for $55 nett during lunch from 13 March until 21 April 2023, and children below the age of 12 dine for free with every one paying adult guest on weekends for lunch from 18 March until 21 April 2023.

For a truly representative and satisfying selection of Peranakan dishes, Peppermint’s Peranakan buffet is the one to try! The buffet is available for lunch and dinner, starting at $68++ for Adults and $34++ for Children ages 6 to 12.
