The only thing better than dimsum is a dimsum buffet, and Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant at PARKROYAL on Beach Road offers just that!
The buffet will be available till 31 August 2025 from Fridays to Sundays (11.30 am to 2.30 pm).
Si Chuan Dou Hua Dimsum Menu
The buffet ($68++/adults, $38++/kids) has over 50 options, ranging from classic steamed items to freshly baked pastries.
Choose from Smoked Duck and Prawn Dumplings, Deep-fried Dragon Silk Roll with Lobster and sweets like Baked Egg Tart with Bird’s Nest. All these are free-flow!
The sweet options include Mango Pomelo Sago and Bean Curd with Sugar Syrup.
Something unique is the Minced Meat Glutinous Rice Dumpling wrapped in Banana Leaf (叶儿粑), a Sichuanese speciality.
It is reminiscent of kueh, with a sweet, chewy wrapping and savoury meat filling.
Every table will receive a combo of four premium dimsum: Steamed Prawn Dumpling with Bird’s Nest, Steamed Pomegranate Seafood Dumpling, Steamed Mushroom Bun with Minced Chicken and Steamed “Shao Mai” topped with Sea Urchin.
These are limited to one order per table. While these were interesting, we think the original versions are better!
For something heartier, Sichuanese and Cantonese dishes are also available. The selectio ranges from a Barbecue Meat Trio Combination, Sautéed Black Pepper Beef to Sichuan Dan Dan Noodles; to help complete your meal.
We recommend the “Chong Qing” Diced Chicken with Dried Chilli (a.k.a La Zi Ji) and Deep-fried Prawn with Wasabi, which were well done.
