If you feel suffocated because travel isn’t an option in this pandemic, visiting places in Singapore that remind you of overseas might do the trick. Here are 9 farms in Singapore that might just make you feel like you’re in the countryside. From vegetable farms to animal farms in Singapore, we’ve got you covered.
Bollywood Veggies
One of the most well-known farms in Singapore right now is Bollywood Veggies. Located in the northwest Kranji Countryside, Bollywood Veggies will make you feel like you’re not in Singapore for a split second.
The place is home to Poison Ivy Bistro, a farm-to-table eatery where visitors go for a quick break or lunch after visiting the nearby farms. While the menu is limited, do try their Blue Nasi Lemak, where they infuse blue pea flower into the rice.
After lunch, walk around the premises to take a look at the wide variety of plants. There’s even a food museum with 24 bespoke oil paintings that illustrate the relationship between human civilisation and food.
