We were really impressed by café nesuto when they first opened in ION Orchard, so it’s exciting that they’ve opened a second outlet in Marina Bay Sands! The expanded space brings along a larger menu with plenty of MBS-exclusive items.
Eclectic Homey Interior

The outlet is located right beside the Arts Science Museum with an outdoor-facing unit.
Unlike the ION outlet, this space is bright, colourful and curated, decorated with curvy furniture and unique light fixtures.

The large windows and strategic placement bring it lots of natural light, making it good for people-watching too.
There’s also outdoor seating available.
cafe nesuto MBS Menu

The menu is largely the same as the ION Orchard outlet with outlet exclusives and expanded offerings!
Check out the full menu here.
Patrons can enjoy a new snacks and starters section with items like Parmesan & Truffle Fries ($16) and Sauteed Clams In Cream Sauce ($24).
There are also pasta options including a Morel Mushroom Pappardelle ($29) and Wagyu Ragu Lasagne ($28).
Some MBS-exclusive brunch items are ‘The Breakfast Platter’ ($32) and a Baked Bean Shakshuka ($24).
They are known for their sweets, so expect their lineup of signature cakes and plated desserts like Créme Fraîche Cheesecake ($16) and Coconut Velvet Cake with Gula Melaka ($16).
The menu of coffees and teas remains the same.
What We Tried

We started with the Citrus Ponzu Prawns with Lemon Cream ($26).
These were huge! Chargrilled and doused in a generous amount of kombu and yuzu butter, these were addictive, smoky and meaty.
We really liked the citrusy umami from the sauce and wished there was bread to mop it up!

The Maple Bacon & Scrambled Eggs on Sourdough Toast ($24) has earned popularity. The thick-cut bacon was salty and sweet, complemented by the creamy eggs and crusty sourdough.
If you like a savoury-sweet combination, this would be up your alley.

The Vongole Linguine ($30) featured guanciale, providing a nice meatiness to the pasta. It had a good combination of savoury and sweet from the cherry tomatoes!
We liked how meaty and fresh the clams were, but felt the dish could use more seasoning.

For desserts, we tried the MBS-exclusive Pandan Coconut Kaya Butter French Toast ($19).
The toast was custardy, drizzled with a caramelised, coconutty kaya jam that wasn’t too sweet. This was indulgent and rich, especially with the mountain of shaved butter on the top!

Another exclusive is the Chocolate Banana Crumble Tart ($16) topped with almond cream and miso caramel.
It was decadent with a thick chocolate layer complemented by bananas. The chocolate had some acidity to balance it out and – yes – its not too sweet either!
