Tucked in an idyllic corner of Dempsey Hill is Curly’s, a grocer-diner concept that focuses on bringing organic, quality produce that’s better for everyone. The grocer brings over 100+ products from six countries incluing Korea, Morocco and Japan.
Fresh, Organic Market Produce

Inspired in part by Erewhon, the American natural grocery chain, Curly’s brings the same wellness-forward concept to Dempsey Hill.
The grocery space is split into three sections, starting with their produce.

The curated selection focuses on organic and harvested with regenerative methods, supporting independent farmers from nations like Brunei and Cambodia.
Some cool items we spotted included dairy products from Jeju, chestnuts from France and sauces from Italy!

They also have a butcher with fresh fish and cruelty-free meats, including a special Kajiya Wagyu from Tanegashima, Japan.
The Wagyu is raised on Tanegashima sugarcane and this is the only place you can find it outside of Japan!

The curation also includes dried goods, skincare, wines and more. We were intrigued and impressed by the items on display, with many items not usually found in other stores!
The price points are steep – we saw an $88 olive oil – but it seems fitting for the area and unique selection.
Bonus: Outdoor Garden

Their outdoor garden is just as exciting!
The garden grows vanilla, cocoa and even strawberries, on top of herbs and vegetables. Even if you’re not buying anything, it’s fun enough just to explore their harvests!
They use select produce in their dishes including long beans and lady’s fingers.
Curly’s Dining

There is an attached dine-in concept that functions as a bakery and brunch cafe.
The menu includes coffee, fresh juices and mains like Pork Porchetta and Sake-steamed Australian Pipis.
You can also look forward to a cocktail program by consulting bartender June Baek (Hup San Social Club).
The drinks are fruit-and-vegetable-forward, with options like a Tomato Tang or a Cacao Fizz!
