Beach-Inspired Interior
The interior exudes a beach vibe, with nets hanging from the ceiling and surfboards adorning the walls. The vibrant colours contribute to a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, giving the impression of a casual seaside getaway.
Bucketta Menu
We sampled the Premium Buffet menu, which starts at $59.90++. It includes additional crayfish and giant river prawns, as well as premium sides like Thai Pork Chop and Tom Yum Pork Ribs. You can also choose from the Classic Buffet options, starting at $39.90++, which feature ingredients such as Tiger Prawn, Flower Crab, Black Mussel, and regular sides like Chicken Cutlet and Breaded Fish Fillet.
Aside from its buffet menu, Bucketta also offers à la carte menu items with flavours of Thailand. Their menu ranges from their must-try Bucket List, which includes dishes like Tom Yum Mama Seafood Stew ($45) and Marinated Sashimi Crab Roe ($49). Appetizers to accompany your mains include Baked Thai Reang Leaves (Pak Liang) with Mozzarella Cheese ($10) and Crispy Thai Larb (Spicy Minced Pork, $12).
For mains, try the Tom Yum BBQ Ribs ($18) and Grilled Pork Neck ($14). Pasta options are also available, like Thai Sambal Spaghetti with Charred Scallop ($24) and Aglio Olio with Crispy Fish Sauce Pork Belly ($16).
Premium Buffet Bucket
Starting at $59.90++, the Premium Buffet menu offers ingredients like tiger prawns, black mussels, white clams, and flower crab with an expanded selection of additional crayfish and giant river prawns.
We tried a little bit of everything, along with non-seafood items such as corn on the cob, fried boiled egg, and broccoli to pair with your seafood.
The seafood was fresh and meaty, with prawns that absorbed the flavorful sauces well. The flower crab was also notably meaty and satisfying, offering a naturally sweet taste.
You can choose from two types of sauces for your bucket: Signature Thai Cajun Sauce and Signature Garlic Butter. Our favourite was the Signature Thai Cajun Sauce, which wasn’t overly spicy and enhanced the seafood flavours well.
While tasty, The Signature Garlic Butter could benefit from a thicker, more flavorful base, as the ones we tried were a bit watered down.
Regular Sides
Fried Mantou
The Fried Mantou was a nice addition to the unlimited sides available. Its crispy exterior and soft, fluffy interior made it the perfect vessel for soaking up the rich flavours of the seafood sauces.
Premium Sides
Thai Pork Chop
The Thai Pork Chop is reminiscent of moo ping, a Thai staple loved by many. Despite being thin, the meat was tender and flavorful, capturing the essence of traditional Thai street food. The well-seasoned pork chop delivered a delicious combination of savoury and slightly sweet notes, making it a standout dish.
Tom Yum Pork Ribs
The Tom Yum Pork Ribs were our favourite! These ribs were well-marinated with bold and tangy flavours of Tom Yum, offering a balance of spicy and slightly savoury notes. Each bite had a satisfying chew and was packed with rich Tom Yum flavour, making it a must-try.
Free Flow Drinks
For an additional $10, you can enjoy free-flow drinks and beer. We tried their classic Thai milk tea and green milk tea, both of which were pleasantly sweet, thick, and not diluted—a solid choice for a refreshing drink.
