Neon Pigeon is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a new modern Japanese-inspired menu and highball cocktail series! Located only 5 minutes from Clarke Quay MRT, the izakaya is presenting an updated menu is led by Head Chef Sean Mell, formerly from Nobu.
$10 Cocktail & Menu Promotion
To commemorate its 10th year, from 9 July to 9 August 2025, Neon Pigeon is offering a limited-time “Perfect 10” promotion.
This includes 5 selected dishes and 5 selected cocktails, with each item priced at $10.
Each guest can select one $10 item from the list for dine in.
Cocktails

The cocktail selection features items like the Ran-Ta-Ta-Tan ($25), made with discarded grape skin vodka, TWG sakura tea, cinnamon, passionfruit, and Chartreuse Yellow.
It was served in a lantern, making for a visually striking presentation!

For something more refreshing, the Ramune Highball ($18) offers a blend of Kakubin whisky, calamansi, and carbonated yuzu.
We got to try this and found it light and easy to drink, making it a fitting choice to accompany grilled or fried dishes!
Other $10 drinks include Spumoni with grapefruit and soda, Teared Negroni ($25), and Melon Cream Soda ($18).
They also have an extensive drink menu, which features a mix of cocktails and highballs with strong Japanese influences. You can check out the full drink menu here.
Sharing Plates & Bar Bites
The $10 dish menu features five fan favourite items, ranging from Toro Tataki (3PC) to Foie Gras Toast.
We got to try the Toro Tataki (U.P. $18 for 3pc, $29 for 5pc), which features seared fatty tuna, wafu dressing, onions, and wakami. The fish was tender and smooth with a rich, buttery texture.
The wafu dressing added just the right amount of saltiness to complement the freshness of the tuna.
We also tried the Unagi Foie Gras Donabe (U.P. $18) combined grilled unagi with seared foie gras over claypot-cooked rice. The eel was sweet and smoky, while the foie gras added richness and depth.
The rice was cooked nicely and absorbed all the sauces, resulting in a dish that is savoury, buttery, and slightly caramelised at the edges.
The other three items to look forward to are the Foie Gras Toast (2pc), Menchi Katsu Sando (1pc), and Pork Asparagus Kushiyaki (2pc).
Bonus: Refreshed New Menu
Their regular menu presents items like Alaskan Cod ($38), Truffle Mushroom Rice ($18), and Shio Koji Aged Pork ($34). Check out their full food menu here.
We got to try five items off their menu:
Baked Hamachi Collar
The Salt Baked Hamazhi Collar ($25) collar is baked in a salt crust, which locks in moisture and enhances the natural sweetness of the fish. It was flambed tableside for an extra pizzazz!
The fish was so tender and soft, with a lightly salted skin. You have to dip it in the ponzu sauce; it gave a nice flavour boost.
Shrimp Tempura Maki
The Shrimp Tempura Maki ($18) featured crispy shrimp tempura with seasoned sushi rice.
We found this to be decent overall, not particularly outstanding, but a safe and familiar option for those who enjoy classic maki rolls.
Tokyo Hummus (Edamame)
Our favourite dish of the night was the Tokyo Hummus ($12). It featured blended edamame beans and served as a creamy dip.
It was incredibly addictive and packed with flavour, with a smooth texture that paired perfectly with the accompanying curry chips.
Kushiyaki Moriawase
The Kushiyaki Moriawase ($29 for 6pc, $48 for 10pc) is an assorted platter of grilled skewers featuring options like Pork Belly with Curry Salt, Corn with Miso Butter and Nori Powder, and Shiso Chicken Thigh with Yuzu Zest.
Each skewer is grilled to achieve a smoky char while retaining its juiciness. We really enjoyed the combination of sweet and savoury glazes, as well as the tenderness of the meat.
Chocolate Trifle
The Chocolate Trifle ($12) is a layered dessert which features chocolate sponge, mousse, and cream. There are crunchy Miso Almond Brittle Bits which complement the texture of the slightly chewy cake.
The chocolate flavour was so rich and decadent, making it a satisfying end to our meal.
