Nothing beats a hearty barbecue with drinks and good company, and Ka-En Grill & Sushi Bar in Capitol Singapore is now offering a new menu designed for this occasion. Their Yakiniku Kurabu Japanese alfresco BBQ experience offers premium meat cuts in an airy, laid-back seating area.
Alfresco Japanese BBQ Menu
The Yakiniku Kurabu menu is only available from 5 pm onward and has to be consumed in their alfresco area, which has just been revamped!
The menu has five different meat platters, starting with the indulgent Luxury Wagyu Beef Platter ($108). This platter features five cuts of premium Miyazaki Wagyu, including Karubi and Chuck Roll.
All the cuts had incredible marbling and colour, cooking off well in the provided grills. There’s nothing bad to say about this: clean, beefy, fatty and melt-in-your-mouth tender!
You can dip the meat into the provided egg yolk and soy sauce for a creamy flavour boost. All the cuts are also available a la carte for top-ups.
For non-beef eaters, opt for the Pork & Chicken Platter ($26) or Assorted Seafood Platter ($45).
Their produce quality is high, down to the chicken thigh and Hokkaido pork belly, making it a satisfying meal even if you don’t eat beef.
There’s also a Wagyu Beef, Pork & Chicken Platter ($35) for the best of both worlds, featuring Premium Miyazaki Wagyu Chuck Roll and Iberico Pork Jowl.
Bonus: $5 Izakaya Menu
Another new addition is an izakaya menu with items starting from only $5!
Choose from addictive bites like Corn Ribs Shoyu Butter Aonori ($5) and Shinjyaga Garlic Shoyu ($5), crispy seasoned potatoes.
Other bites include the Kani Koura Yaki with Mini Baguette ($15.80), mixing crab roe, miso and crab meat for an umami-packed bite.
