Chef Chris Oh, owner of several Korean restaurants in the US has come up with an innovative idea to allow people in Southern California to enjoy K-BBQ in a safe manner during this pandemic.
Enter The Korean BBQ Car, a modified Scion xB car that carries a motorized table with various equipment like a barbecue grill and a mounted television. There are also speakers so you can blast some K-pop tunes to go with the sizzling of the bbq. Talk about bringing K-BBQ to the next level.
The Korean BBQ Car has enough space for a group of 4 to enjoy an authentic Korean BBQ experience with meats such as bulgogi ribeye and honey gochujang pork belly.
It also comes with a wide range of side dishes (banchan), bottles of soju, and beer. You can also opt for additional cuts like A5 Wagyu Beef if you’re feeling fancy.
The experience does not come cheap though, with prices starting from $500 USD. The Korean BBQ Car is only servicing the Southern California area as of now. Bookings can made made over at their website.
Now for the big question, would you try this out if it were available in your region?
