Obba Jjajang is a relatively well-known name when it comes to Korean-Chinese cuisine. Known for their Jjajangmyeon, the Korean restaurant recently just came up with a new challenge featuring their star dish – the Jumbo Jjajangmyeon.
According to their Instagram post, the first 5 who successfully complete the challenge within 15 mins will be rewarded with $100. If you don’t, you’ll have to pay $58.
The bowl of Jjajangmyeon looks huge and is actually 5 portions of the regular Jjajangmyeon.
On 21st Nov 2020, it seems like local competitive eater, Zermatt Neo, was the first to complete the Jumbo Jjajangmyeon Challenge. His white shirt also stayed white till the end.
The challenge took place at O.BBa’s 4th outlet, the O.BBa BBQ & Jjajang store at 59 Tanjong Pagar Road.
Before that, it seems like only 1 other person has attempted the challenge.
Will you be game enough to try this?
