Merci Marcel introduces its fifth outlet in Robertson Quay, located in a beautifully restored 19th-century warehouse. It features original archways and an outdoor terrace perfect for alfresco dining.
At this outlet, Merci Marcel invites diners to enjoy an exclusive menu created in collaboration with acclaimed Chef Bruno Menard. Chef Bruno is a renowned chef who once attained three Michelin stars for his restaurant in Tokyo.

What we like about this outlet is not just the fact that it’s right beside a waterfront setting but also how cozy the atmosphere is indoors. The outdoor terrace provides diners with a chance to relax and people-watch.

Merci Marcel and Chef Bruno Menard have created an exclusive menu that features a range of starters, mains, and desserts.
For starters, you have options like the Cevennes Onion Soup ($24), a creamy soup that highlights the sweetness of onions from the South of France. It is served with pan-seared foie gras and truffle chantilly.

A must-try is the Beetroot Tartar ($14), which is served with string potatoes, pink peppercorn and sesame oil. For those who dislike the earthiness of beetroot, this dish has none of that and almost feels a bit like a potato salad.
Other starters include a Rillons de Touraine (S $18, L $27), which is essentially a pork belly confit with curly salad, poached egg, and a wholegrain mustard sauce, and Crab Croquettes ($15), which offers a playful nod to local flavours with a chilli crab mayonnaise.

For mains, our favourites include the Poached Snapper and Scallop Quenelle ($38) which feature leeks, mussels and Normandy Sauce along with the Pan-Roasted Prawns ($32) with coconut creamy risotto & Madras curry sauce – super fragrant!

Other mains include a Roasted Chicken Breast ($30), Wild Porcini Ravioles ($27) and a Grilled Ribeye Steak (300gm $69).
We thoroughly enjoyed the desserts here, especially the Coconut Spoom ($14) with caramelized coconut flakes and rice puffs, served with mini churros. Might be on the sweet side for most, but no complains because of how well the elements complement each other.
The Chocolate Espuma ($15) was also really rich and enjoyable, along with The Rum Baba ($17), with a passionfruit glaze, crunchy sugar Chantilly and Double-Cask Plantation Rum. The Rum Baba is actually based on chef’s dad’s recipe!
Great Spot For Wine in Singapore
Merci Marcel also offers a meticulously curated wine list featuring prestigious labels and hidden gems from France’s diverse regions. Along with the atmosphere of the new outlet, Merci Marcel Robertson Quay is a great spot for those seeking a great evening along the riverside.
