Also known as Tom’s Farm Almonds, the newest Black Sesame Almonds from Korea are sure to be a hit amongst black sesame lovers. The brand has probably one of the largest range of flavoured almonds, comprising of both savoury and sweet flavours.

HBAF, which stands for Honey Butter and Friends is a Korean brand that brought you the iconic honey butter almonds. The brand continues to launch new flavours year after year, with the most recent ones being the Jeju Matcha Almonds and Garlic Bread Almonds.
Now, HBAF has launched a new flavour: Black Sesame!
This is the first flavoured almond to have the HBAF logo printed on its packaging. Previously, the Tom’s Farm logo could be seen on the packaging instead.
Visual-wise, the almonds are coated in a beautiful shade of grey with specks of white and black sesame seeds. Once you break into the packet of almonds, you’ll be greeted by a nice savoury whiff of sesame.

The thickness of the sesame chocolatey paste surrounding the almond is similar to the Jeju Matcha Almond.
Not going to lie, this did not disappoint. We loved the sesame flavour in this – it’s nutty, creamy and fragrant. You can taste the earthiness of the sesame and we think sesame lovers will definitely love this.
