This one’s for those who can’t decide on what to order at restaurants. La Vache! is a newly opened Parisian-style Steakhouse at Gemmill Lane offering only one main menu: steak and unlimited fries.
Steak and Unlimited Fries in Singapore
The concept of steak and fries is a French bistro classic. But throw in the word ‘unlimited’ and Singaporeans go crazy. I mean, it feels like we’ve gotten ourselves a great deal.
La Vache! offers one set course menu priced at $68.
The meal begins with bread & butter, accompanied by a serving of organic greens and walnut salad tossed in a tangy mustard vinaigrette. I must say, this salad whets your appetite for what’s to come. The dressing was refreshing and lovely.
For the steak, they serve only one specific cut: a 10-oz USDA Double Gold Ribeye that has been wet-aged for 60 days. It is seared to your preference and served with unlimited fries, accompanied by a signature Bearnaise sauce.
The steak was well-marbled and tender, and it pairs exceptionally well with their house-made Bearnaise sauce.
As for the fries, they are constantly cooked fresh and served throughout the meal. There’s even an option for less seasoned fries if you find the original too salty for your liking. Personally, we preferred the less seasoned one!

Believe it or not, you have options here at La Vache!. To end the meal on a sweet note, there’s a dessert trolley that goes around the tables. From simple options like Gelato to house-made patisserie favourites like Profiteroles ($16), Lemon Meringue Tart ($16), and a Raspberry Millefeuille ($16).
La Vache! is located at 40 Gemmill Lane and is open for dinner from 6pm from Tuesday to Sunday. The nearest MRT is Telok Ayer. The menu is priced at $68++ per guest.
