Ramandan is right around the corner and we have a contender for a meal to break fast: Ginger @ PARKROYAL on Beach Road! They will be offering a Korean-themed halal buffet from 27 February to 30 April 2025 with classic Korean dishes.
Flavours of Korea – Seoul of Ginger Menu
The buffet is priced at $75++ for adults and $37.50++ for children from Mondays to Thursdays, $85++ for adults and $42.50++ for children from Fridays to Sundays.
Their menu presents a rotating selection of over 30 classic Korean dishes, including kimbap, tteokbokki and eomuktang.
The star item would be their Korean fried boneless chicken, with 7 flavours!
The flavour lineup is Original, Cheese, Soy Garlic, Spicy Gochujang, Sichuan Pepper Chilli, Ghost Pepper Chilli and Kicap Manis.
These will be available 4 flavours per day. Our favourites were the Original, Soy Garlic and Sichuan Pepper Chilli!
If you’re a spicehead you can conquer the Ghost Pepper Chilli, which left a lingering spice on our tongues.
They even have dishes like samgyetang, Korean river prawn stew, and an indulgent abalone porridge.
Meat options include grilled Galbi and bulgogi (chicken and beef).
The Galbi had a nice smokey marinade with a nice caramelisation but we found the chicken bulgogi underwhelming.
There will even be a fresh Jajjangmyeon station and a DIY bibimbap station!
We enjoyed the jajjangmyeon for its rich, savoury sauce which went great with the noodles.
You can end your meal off with a Melona or Samanco Red Bean waffle ice cream.
