Sushiro Launches ‘Crab For More!’ Seasonal Menu Featuring 14 Crab-Centric Items

Crab lovers unite! This February, popular Kaiten Sushi Chain, Sushiro, is introducing a seasonal menu that’s crab-themed, with a special range of items featuring the popular crustacean.

Starting from 15th Feb 2023, you’ll find a range of items that will be available exclusively for dine-in only at all SUSHIRO outlets and an exclusive selection of items available at their Petit outlets.

Here are all the items available:

One of the more unique items we tried was the Crab Meat Oshisushi. Oshisushi is one of the oldest forms of sushi, where the rice and ingredients, crab meat in this case, are pressed and cut into smaller pieces.

The Chilli Crab Chawanmushi made quite an impression on us as well, with the chill crab sauce on top of the silky egg tasting delicious, with a great balance of sweet and spicy flavours. Hidden beneath it was a bunch of ingredients such as a whole scallop!

Something that’s bound to satisfy the whole family is the Soft Shell Crab, which also comes in a local chilli crab twist.

Crab lovers will appreciate the Crab Butter items, which feature a whole dollop of it, oozing with umami and crab flavours.

Among the different wraps, we enjoyed the Crab Matsumaezuke Wrap which contained a mix of crab meat and spicy herring roe, a great balance of flavours and texture.

Sushiro Petit Takeaway

For those opting for takeaway at the Sushiro Petit outlets (Great World and Wisma Atria), you’ll find a selection of platters, such as the Crab Petit Special ($14.30) which has 2x Crab Matsumaezuke Gunkan, 2x Chilli Crab Gunkan and 2x Crab Butter Gunkan.

You can also opt for delivery and enjoy these limited-time offerings via delivery partners such as Grabfood and Foodpanda.
