Kanada-Ya Mentaiko Series
Kanada-Ya has launched a new menu of Mentaiko dishes available for a limited time only! Choose from Mentaiko Fried Chicken ($9.90), Mentaiko Fries ($7.90), Mentaiko Takoyaki ($6.90) and Mentaiko Gyoza ($8.90).
Each dish is generously covered in a torched Mentaiko sauce, perfect for mentaiko lovers. We particularly enjoyed the Fried Chicken, with large pieces of crunchy and juicy chicken thigh.
Aside from the new mentaiko series, Kanada-Ya’s mainstay menu of tonkatsu ramen is worth a shout-out, especially their winning Signature Truffle Ramen (from $22.90). The broth was thick and coated the thin ramen noodles, topped with tender char siew slices.
Takoyaki Roulette Challenge
Here’s the kicker – Kanada-Ya is also hosting a Tako Roulette challenge where you risk eating a ball packed full of wasabi!
The challenge is open from now till 31 March 2023, eligible with an order of any 2 ramen specials. To try the challenge for free, simply snap a photo of the takoyaki and tag #kanadayasg on our social media. We got to try the challenge and let’s just say it got a bit spicy.
