The Lobby Lounge at InterContinental Singapore has elevated its afternoon tea experience with a refreshed selection of vegan-themed offerings! Enjoy the Vegan Afternoon Tea from April 18 to August 31 2024.
Vegan Afternoon Tea Menu
The revamped Vegan Afternoon Tea Set ($55++/pax for Weekday, $60++/pax for Weekend) offers a variety of plant-based items, from savoury Egg Mayo and Cheddar Cheese Sandwiches to Grilled ‘Impossible’ Sliders crafted using an Impossible meat patty. Sweet treats include the Green Apple Chocolate Pot and Pineapple Tofu Mascarpone Cake.

The afternoon tea sets include a serving of coffee or loose-leaf tea, along with unlimited servings of ice cream!
Sweet Selection
All the pastries were well crafted and visually appetising, with none of the items being overly sweet.
The Pineapple Tofu Mascarpone Cake stood out as one of the more unique offerings. We enjoyed the combination of the sweetness from the airy cake and the tartness from the raspberry Chantilly. While we felt that the pineapple taste could be more prominent, we still enjoyed these pastries.
The Banana Peanut Cake is one of our favourites! Its moist and dense banana sponge cake had a distinct banana flavour that wasn’t artificial. The peanut cream added a creaminess and a hint of saltiness, cutting through the richness.
Savoury Selection
The savoury selection impressed us. We wouldn’t have guessed it was vegan at all! Everything was well-seasoned and just as satisfying. It’s a great introduction to vegan dining for those who are curious or just starting to explore plant-based options.
The Egg Mayo and Cheddar Cheese Sandwich was hearty with good texture from the plant-based egg. The egg mayo even had a milkier taste compared to regular egg mayo, complemented by the fresh herbs.
We also enjoyed the Summer Vegetables Tartlet, which resembled a pizza! The base tomato jam and pesto was fragrant and savoury, combined with the crunch from the trio of pumpkin, zucchini, and eggplant.
