Korea Culture: Korean Semi-Buffet In Changi Airport From $21.90++With Free-Flow Banchan

There’s a new Korean restaurant in Changi Airport Terminal 3 with an interesting concept: Korea Culture! The movie-themed eatery offers a banchan buffet for every main, with over 50 rotating choices.

Cinema-Themed Decor

Korea Culture is in Terminal 3, boasting a striking red theme. The interior is vibrant and full of neon lights and signs, giving it a bright atmosphere.

The team shares that there will be a rotating theme inspired by Korean content. When we visited, it was Squid Game! The staff were dressed in guard uniforms and there were themed games (more on that later)!

Korea Culture Menu

The banchan buffet is complimentary with every order of a main.

Options include Chicken Bibimbap ($23.80), Kimchi Beef Stew ($25.80) and even grilled items like Korean-Style Hamburger ($28.90) and Grilled Lamb Rack ($42.90).

Some mains like Kimchi Army Stew ($46.80) and Korean Ginseng Chicken ($48.80) can feed 2 pax. Each order automatically entitles both people to the buffet!

You can even opt to just have the banchan buffet at $21.90/pax.

The banchan selection ranges from kimchi, seasoned chives, marinated quail eggs and even a salad bar!

There’s also a hot food section with kimchi fried rice, japchae, fried enoki and more. You can even enjoy Hagen Daaz ice cream, tea and coffee.

Mains

For mains, we tried the Grilled Bulgogi Chicken ($24.50) and Kimchi Army Stew ($46.80).

The chicken was grilled very well, with a crisp skin and tender, juicy meat. We wouldn’t say the seasoning is bulgogi, but it had a pleasant savoury soy sauce flavour.

The Kimchi Army Stew had plenty of toppings, which we appreciated! There was tofu, sausages, spam and ramen noodles. The sliced cheese made the soup creamy, though we wished for a stronger kimchi flavour.

Banchan Buffet

We tried a little bit of everything and think the variety is impressive. The banchan buffet alone can definitely fill you up!

Of the selection, we enjoyed the japchae and fried foods most. The sweet potato fries and cheese sticks were addictive.

However, we didn’t like the kimchi at all. We gave feedback to the team, hopefully they can improve this!

Korean Food In Terminal 3

Korea Culture offers a relatively value-for-money option, especially for the airport! The food isn’t authentic, but for the variety, we think it’s a nice option nonetheless.
