Famed for its signature white bee hoon, White Restaurant has rolled out its Chinese New Year Menu for 2023 with a number of new additions and attractive set menus! The set menus are available from 6 January 2023 to 5 February 2023 and are available for order now.
White Restaurant CNY Menu 2023
There are a number of a la carte dishes you can order, starting with the Grand Fortune Abalone Yusheng ($49.90 for S, $66.80 for L). The ingredients include 18-head abalone, shredded winter melon, shredded jellyfish and buckwheat garnished with deep-fried shredded yam.
In line with the coming Year of The Rabbit, this yusheng comes with an auspicious rabbit ornament that you can bring home!
The menu has some new additions like the Prosperity Bag with Broccoli and Mushroom ($25.80), which features fish meat and fish roe wrapped within beancurd skin shaped to resemble money purses!
We got to try a more deluxe version that came with Fatt Choy Shajing Oyster and Braised Pork Belly. The gravy was robust and flavourful, pairing well with each element of the dish.
The new Prawn and Broccoli in XO Sauce ($21.80) features large bouncy prawns in a housemade XO sauce! The spicy sauce coated the prawns and broccoli and paired great with rice. Those who enjoy lighter, cleaner flavours will like the Steamed Halibut Fillet ($18.80) with a traditional Cantonese-style soy sauce over top.
The other classic Chinese New Year dishes are still available, including Deep Fried Marble Goby ($48 for S, $68 for L), Crispy Roasted Chicken ($28.80 for 1/2kg, $48.80 for whole) and Fatt Choy Shajing Oyster with Braised Pork Belly ($35.80).
Set Menus
The White Restaurant is also offering three set menus that can be customised for 4, 6, 8 and 10 people. Every set menu comes with the Yusheng, one deluxe variation of the signature White Beehoon alongside the new additions for the new year.

- Joyous Set (from $198++ for 4 people): Braised Crab Meat and Fish Maw Thick Soup, Prosperity Bag with Broccoli and Mushrooms, Steamed Halibut Fillet, Scallop White Beehoon and Red Bean Paste with Glutinous Rice Ball
- Prosperity Set (from $238++ for 4 people): Fresh Prawn Wanton Collagen Soup with Prawn Paste, Braised Pork with Shajing Oyster and Mushrooms, Deep Fried Marble Goby, Abalone White Beehoon and Peach Gum Cheng Tng
- Fortune Set (from $308++ for 4 people): Signature Triple Happiness platter, Roasted Duck with Angelica Herbs, Prawn and Broccoli in XO Sauce, Abalone and Scallop White Beehoon and Yam Paste with Lotus Seed and Coconut Milk
These set menus are available for both dine-in and takeaway. If you order the 6, 8 or 10 pax set menus in-store on Chinese New Year’s Eve for the first, second and last seating, you can be entitled to a free Celebration Gift Set!
The set is worth $51.20 and features abalones in unique flavours such as White Truffle, Sichuan Mala, Sichuan Green Pepper Mala, and Braised Dried Scallop.
White Restaurant Chinese New Year Operating Hours
The White Restaurant will be open on Chinese New Year’s Eve (21 January 2023) for 4 seatings: 12 pm to 1.30 pm, 5 pm to 6.30 pm, 6.45 pm to 8.15 pm and 8.30 pm to 10 pm. The outlets open on 21 January 2023 are Waterway Point, Sun Plaza, Jewel Changi Airport, IMM, Suntec City, VivoCity and Tampines Mall.
