Hop into the year of the rabbit with limited-edition Chinese New Year treats from your favourite local brands: Toast Box, Thye Moh Chan, and Butter Bean! They include both new and popular returning CNY specials perfect to impress your guests when they come over for a visit!

Toast Box CNY Treats

Toast Box is bringing prosperity to you with its delectable CNY offerings that include elements like pineapple and Bak Kwa! Dig into items like the new Bak Kwa Ong Lai Toast ($4.80) which is a white toast topped with smoky Bak Kwa, melted gouda cheese, and homemade pineapple jam.

A returning favourite is the Bak Kwa Fried Rice ($6.80), which is made with white rice, eggs, fragrant chopped garlic and spring onion, and diced Bak Kwa. You can also have the Golden Yam Cake ($3.80) as a side which is loaded with ingredients like minced pork, dried shrimp, shiitake mushrooms, and more.

Toast Box also has CNY goodies available, such as the Mini Pineapple Pastry ($14.80) which features a Gula Melaka-infused pineapple paste, and the Mini Ondeh Ondeh ($14.80) which has fresh desiccated coconut, brown sugar, and gula melaka in the center.

Other treats include fiery Mala Crisps ($12.80), Coffee Flower ($14.80), and Peanut Butter Kueh Kapet ($14.80). Every two bottles of cookies purchased will come in a gift box adorned in festive illustrations and customers can receive 10$ off any two bottles, and 15% off any four bottles.

Thye Moh Chan CNY Treats

Made with time-honored recipes and techniques passed down for generations, homegrown pastry brand Thye Moh Chan has an exceptional range of Lunar New Year treats this year.

Back by popular demand is the Bak Kwa Tau Sar Piah ($2.80/pc or $20/box of 8pcs) which is the brand’s signature Salty Tau Sar Piah amped up with Bak Kwa. There’s also the Golden Joy ($2.80/pc or $20/box of 8pcs) which is a flaky pastry packed with items like smooth red bean paste, spicy pork floss, chewy mochi and salted egg yolk.

What’s CNY without love letters! Thye Moh Chan is launching their rendition of the traditional new year snack for the first time, and these are light and crispy egg rolls with a pleasant coconut fragrace.

Butter Bean CNY Snacks

Butter Bean launches new festive cookies ($14.80/bottle) for CNY which includes a series of melt-in-your-mouth butter cookies in flavours like Hazelnut Chocolate and Strawberry Crème Rose.

Other snacks include Pineapple Golden Cheese Tart. Customers who purchase 2 bottles will enjoy a 10% discount, while customers who purchase any 4 bottles will enjoy a 15% discount. On top of that, customers who purchase any Chinese New Year set meal or cookies in-store will also receive the added perk of a $1.80 return voucher.
