Strawberry High Tea - Group Shot

The menu offers a mix of sweet and savoury dishes, each infused with Fukuoka-sourced strawberries. You are recommended to enjoy the items from savoury to sweet for an optimal tasting experience.

Here’s a look at the full lineup :

The afternoon tea experience includes unlimited TWG teas and BACHA coffees, featuring unique blends such as Orange Sky and Sao Silvestre.

Sweet Treats

Clockwise from top left: Strawberry Mint, Tahitian Vanilla Whip, Strawberry Compote, Strawberry Meringata and Classic Strawberry Shortcake

All the sweets were dainty and pink-themed, which was quite a treat to the eyes! A few of the treats stood out to us more.

The Strawberry Meringata was our favourite. It was well-executed, striking a perfect balance between sweet and tart. Its base is made of marinated strawberries which was contrasted with vanilla cream and crunch from the slow-baked meringue.

Of the cakes, the Tahitian Vanilla Whip with Strawberry Compote stood out the most with its rich filling of strawberry marmalade and vanilla ganache. We tasted a subtle cinnamon flavour from the layer of sponge, which really enhanced all the flavours!

Savoury Treats

Clockwise from top left: French Strawberry Balsamic Bruschetta, Strawberry, Mango, Scallop Tart, Salmon Rillettes and Whipped Brie

The savoury items incorporated strawberries in unique ways, but we felt overall the berry could have been more prominent in every item.

A notable item was the French Strawberry Balsamic Bruschetta was paired with housemade smoked duck. The smokey and savoury flavour was complemented by the strawberries pretty well. However, the bread was a little dry and we felt that more seasoning could be added.

Standing out as our favourite was the Strawberry, Mango, and Scallop Tart. The combination of crunchy pickles and scallops that wasn’t too overwhelming in taste and a subtle hint of strawberry, created a well-rounded taste.
