L’Espresso at Goodwood Park Hotel is bringing back its seasonal themed afternoon tea buffet, this time inspired by spring in Japan! The Springtime Sakura Afternoon Tea Buffet presents a selection of Japanese-inspired sweet and savouries.
Goodwood Park Hotel Tea Time Buffet Menu

Available from now till 30 June 2026, the tea time buffet spread presents classic tea time treats with Japanese flair.
Look forward to cold bites like Crabmeat Salad with Tobiko sandwiches and Japanese Chicken Salad with Potato & Sakura Denbu.
Our favourite was the Mentaiko Prawn with Ikura and Baby Cress tartlets! The plump prawns had a great texture with a slight saltiness from the mentaiko sauce, though we think the mentaiko sauce could be stronger.
The warm food station has hearty options such as the Japanese Curry Beef Shepard’s Pie with Sweet Potato, Crispy Okonomiyaki and Japanese Koroke served with spicy mayo and wasabi mayo.
We recommend the Chargrilled Tsukune for its tender bite and the sweet caramelised onion glaze.
There are three limited-number Chef’s Specials, available only at select times: Unagi & Uni Arancini, Nikujaga Wagyu Beef Cheek and sweet Japanese Pudding.
Our pick would be the Wagyu beef cheek; melt-in-your mouth fattiness complemented by a sweet carrot puree.
A highlight for us was the Buta no Kakuni Pork with Daikon and Quail Egg. Braised in a savoury, flavourful sauce, the pork belly chunks and radish were fatty and moreish!
It’s cleverly served with rice crackers to soak up the sauce.
Their tea time buffets always feature a live carving station, this time with a Pistachio Panko Crusted Beef Tenderloin.
It was a juicy medium rare, but some might find the gamey taste a tad strong.
The sweets are just as pretty! Look forward to the dainty Sakura Entremets Cake shaped in a flower or the milky, vanilla-studded Hokkaido Custard Cream Puff.
There’s also a gelato bar with Matcha and Yuzu options plus condiments.
The L’Espresso Springtime Sakura Afternoon Tea Buffet pricing is as follows:
- Monday to Thursday (2pm to 5.30pm): $65++/Adults, $39++/Adult

Bonus: Special Menu At Gordon Grill

Check out dishes like fresh-shucked ‘Karatomari Ebisu’ Oysters (from $58/half dozen) from Japan and the prized Ohmi A5 Wagyu Ribeye ($42/100g), served with roasted potatoes and red wine jus.
Enjoy Japanese seafood like a Cured Hamachi Tartare with yuzu cucumber and caviar ponzu jelly ($38) and the Kinmeidai Fillet ($68), complemented by sea urchin and a luscious cream sauce.
There’s also a Binchotan-grilled Botan Ebi ($35), served with risotto, sudachi and noisette miso sauce.
