This festive season, PizzaExpress has launched some holiday specials that will bring some cheer to you and your family! From a pull-apart Christmas tree to pizzas made from scratch in-house, here’s what you can expect!
Pull-Apart Cheesy Dough Balls Christmas Tree
Coming in the shape of a Christmas tree, the Pull-Apart Cheesy Dough Balls Christmas Tree ($17.80) features 16 pieces of chewy dough balls. They are topped with pork pepperoni, mozzarella, parmesan cheese, herbs & spices.
It’s served together with 2 sauces, a pesto Genovese and a pesto siciliano. We particularly enjoyed the pesto siciliano which had a nice bright tartness from the semi-fried tomatoes, combined with the savouriness of pine nuts and parmesan cheese.
Christmas Antipasti Wreath
A whole plate of ham, cheeses, preserves, and more! You can find cold cuts such as salami, pepperoni, Calabria sausages, and turkey ham to go with a mixed salad in your Christmas Antipasti Wreath ($21). There’s also camembert and mozzarella for the cheese lovers.
Christmas Natale Pizza with Camembert & Turkey Ham
The Christmas Natale Pizza ($32) is a pizza with a sprinkle of Christmas magic! Coming with a tinge of sweetness thanks to the cranberry sauce, there’s also turkey ham and camembert cheese to balance it all out.
It doesn’t end there, there’s a touch of luxe from truffle sauce and a mushroom sauce for that extra creaminess.
Santa’s Berry Compote with Vanilla Gelato
To end your Xmas meal on a sweet note, dig into Santa’s Berry Compote with Vanilla Gelato ($16)! Think berry compote paired with vanilla gelato, topped with cinnamon stars and granola.
Linguine Granchio con Panna
For an even more hearty meal, opt for one of their pastas at PizzaExpress. We especially loved the Linguine Granchio con Panna, which has steamed crabmeat, onion, garlic, and coriander in a spicy cream sauce finished with caviar and lime.
