Hello Korea Fair: Korean Fashion, Food & Lifestyle Pop-Up At Takashimaya

Looking for something to do this weekend? Head down to Takashimaya to catch the Hello Korea Fair, boasting a selection of direct-from-Korea brands and goods to check out.

Selection Of Korean Goods

The area is vaguely split into food and fashion/lifestyle. Here are a few noteworthy brands you can drop by:

Fashion

There’s everything from streetwear to golf athleisure, with many brands offering up to 50% discount! Some brands on display include Andar, Screw Da Rules and Fantom

You can also browse jewellery, shoes and even kid’s brands. K-Avenue has a dedicated space offering snacks and supplements which make for good gifts. Pickypic has a dedicated photobooth corner for you to snap memories, complete with different coloured rooms and props!

Food

The food options are the most exciting part! Aside from classic street foods like tteokbokki and Korean fried chicken, you can get freshly made kimchi from Taste K.

They have a kimchi-making stand where you can sample all types of kimchi, ranging from dried radish to Silbi kimchi – a super spicy cabbage version popular with mukbang!

Taste K also offers fresh Korean produce including the famous oriental melon and unique Santa watermelons. You can even get Shine Muscat kombucha and Hallanbong yoghurt ice cream from their stall.

If you’re looking for something more substantial, Mugung Bibimbap has a menu of Bibimbap (from $10.90) both with and without meat.

For dessert, you can drop by Seoul Hotteok, made famous for their cute heart-shaped Sarang Hotteok ($6.80) filled with Nutella! They also have the savoury Japchae Hotteok ($8) or Hotteok Ice Cream ($9.80), all made fresh with each order.

That’s not all – there’s fresh makgeolli and fried fish chips from Sell:ector and adorable egg-shaped pastries from Eggseoul with fillings like custard and pizza.
