Covid-19 has taken a toll on businesses. From learning to adapt and setting up online platforms, to some having to close for good, it has been nothing but an arduous journey for business owners.

For Nigel, Founder Bak Kut Teh’s Second Gen owner, he might just have to shut down the 42-year-old brand in the next 2 months if things don’t take a turn for the better.

In a social media post that has garnered more than 1000 shares, Nigel shared that the business is in a dire situation. Despite the announcement of Phase 2, the restaurants are still not seeing diners as much as they used to.

Takeaways and online deliveries have kept the business afloat during Covid-19 but efforts are still insufficient according to the post.

In an attempt to encourage dine-ins and to thank everyone who has supported them during the circuit breaker, they are offering 30% off their curated family set menus from 17 July to 17 August at their Hotel Boss, Bugis and Downtown East outlets.

What’s In The Curated Sets?

The curated family set menus are priced from $30.80 (U.P $45) for 2 pax and $50.80 (U.P $72.60) for 4 pax. Each set comes with the highly raved Bak Kut Teh dish, at least 3 accompanying side dishes, you tiao/dessert and drinks.
