Yuiitsu Yakiniku: Japanese A5 Wagyu Yakiniku Buffet At $79.80+ In Serangoon

If you’ve been looking to satisfy your yakiniku craving, there’s a place you can add to your list: Yuiitsu Yakiniku. The butchery-yakiniku dual concept is located between Lorong Chuan and Serangoon and offers an attractive buffet with a selection of house-cut meats!

Affordable Premium Meat Cuts

Seating

The seating space is equipped with grill tables and every table has a trolley full of items like tongs, tissues and cutlery, which we appreciated. We like that it’s located between both the Serangoon and Lorong Chuan MRT stations – about 10 minutes walk!

Their butchery selection is at the front of the store. This is where you can get meat cuts at seriously good prices – some under $10 per 100 grams! Some offerings include Australian Wagyu Sirloin ($9.20/100g) and Australian Wagyu Chuck ($3.60/100g). They even do seasonal 1-for-1 promotions on their cuts!

Yuiitsu Yakiniku Menu

Their main offering is the Yakiniku a la carte Buffet. The Deluxe Set ($59.90/pax) offers the entire selection of starters, cooked food and meats ranging from pork to lamb.

Their meat options range from Australian to Japanese beef, in cuts like karubi (shortrib), katarosu (chuck) and beef tongue. If you’re not a fan of beef, there’s pork belly, chicken and seafood. You can also get hot foods like yakitori and ebi tempura!

The Premium Set ($79.90/pax) is the option that offers the unlimited Japanese A5 Wagyu, which we think is an attractive price given the quality of the meat.

Premium Japanese A5 Takasaki Wagyu Beef

The beef was hand-cut into perfect squares, boasting a gorgeous marbling. Just the presentation alone was enough to whet our appetites.

Each piece was melt-in-your-mouth tender, with the familiar beefy richness of Wagyu. The meat was fatty but clean which made it easy to enjoy! Definitely worth the premium if you’re a fan of Wagyu.

Other Beef Cuts

Their regular beef cuts are just as good, with appetizing colour and freshness. Of the ones we tried, the options that stood out to us were the karubi and katabara (brisket) with their balance of fat and lean meat.

The marinades added a nice savoury flavour but we feel these taste just as good without!

Pork Cuts & Lamb

Even though beef is their specialty, we were impressed with the quality of their pork selection. The pork belly and pork jowl crisped up on the grill to give a nice burst of fat.

Their lamb chop also took us by surprise. It was tender without being too gamey, complemented by their sweet Yuiitsu sauce.

Seafood

We also tried their Oyster with Kaki sauce, Prawn and Scallop with garlic butter sauce. The prawns were big, fresh and bouncy when cooked; though the butter sauce could be richer!

Wagyu Yakiniku Buffet In Serangoon

For the quality and selection of meat, we’d say Yuiitsu Yakiniku offers a value-for-money buffet experience! Their butchery also offers a quality selection of meats that are good for cooking at home.
