YOUNGS Restaurant & Bar Cosford: Drinks, Food & A Perfect View Of Changi Airport

TL;DR

YOUNGS Restaurant & Bar in Cosford Container Park is a Changi restaurant with an open view of the airport runway. Menu items range from roughly $15 to $30, with Western mains like pizza and pasta, plus a solid drinks list.

If you’ve been searching for a restaurant with a view, YOUNGS Restaurant & Bar at Cosford Container Park is hard to beat. This open-air spot is built almost entirely around its sight of the Changi Airport runway, so you can watch planes take off and land while working through a menu of Western-style sharing plates and ice-cold beer.

Here’s everything to know before you go, including what to order and whether it’s worth the trip out.

What Is YOUNGS Restaurant & Bar?

YOUNGS Restaurant & Bar Cosford

YOUNGS Restaurant & Bar is located at Cosford Container Park in Changi. The two-storey seating area gives diners an unobstructed view of the Changi Airport runway, so you can plane-spot freely while you eat.

The space itself is breezy, colourful, and spacious; the kind of relaxed, comfortable setting that works equally well for a casual catch-up. A live band adds to the atmosphere!

The restaurant recently underwent a revamp, which included expanding the parking space out front. That expansion does eat into the runway view slightly, but the sightline remains excellent overall.

If you’re chasing the best photo or the best seat, golden hour is the time to come! The light hitting the tarmac at sunset is genuinely stunning.

What To Order At YOUNGS Restaurant & Bar

The menu leans Western, with most dishes designed for sharing. Our top recommendations are the pizzas and the sides.

We tried the Four Cheese, Honey & Nuts Pizza ($23.90). The savoury-sweet combination worked well, though the base was thinner than a traditional pizza crust, closer to a tortilla than real pizza dough.

If you’re after a more classic bite, the Margherita ($21.90), The Butcher’s Meat Pizza ($22.90), and Burrata & Parma with Honey ($25.90) are all worth trying.

The White Wine Clam Linguine ($21.90) was a pleasant surprise, with a strong garlic-and-chilli kick. We wished it had a strong seafood flavour.

For something heartier, the YOUNGS Double Cheese Burger ($26.90) delivers. It came with a generous side of fries, and the patty was juicy and well-seasoned, though it leaned slightly more toward well-done than expected.

Beyond these, the menu also features the Turkey Ham & Cheese Crepe ($15.90), Gambas Al Ajillo ($19.90), and Wild Mushroom & Truffle Risotto ($21.90), plenty of variety for groups with different tastes.

Prices are reasonable across the board, with most dishes falling between $9.90 and $30 which is solid value for the portion sizes. With its sharing-friendly format, the menu is well-suited for group gatherings!

There’s also a good selection of drinks, including beer, wine, and whisky, often at deals worth checking out.

Is YOUNGS Restaurant & Bar Worth Visiting?

It depends on what you’re after. For a relaxed evening with friends or a scenic backdrop for a gathering, the ambience and runway views make YOUNGS genuinely worth the trip.

That said, Cosford Container Park is somewhat out of the way, and getting there is easier with a car. Our recommendation: time your visit for sunset, so you catch the golden hour views while planes come in to land – it’s the best version of the YOUNGS experience.
