If you’re looking for a vibey dining spot, Vineyard can be on your list! The restaurant is nestled amidst the lush greenery of HortPark, offering a menu of French-inspired cuisine with a sustainable twist. Their menu reimagines classic French dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
Modern Classic Interior
The space is split into indoor and alfresco seating. For a formal occasion, the interior offers a traditional but refined setting.
In contrast, the alfresco dining area is airy. It is equipped with air conditioning and a glass ceiling, offering a view of the surrounding nature in comfort. This space is pretty in natural sunlight and we think would be super pretty at night too!

They offer a variety of options like the classic Moules Marinière (Mussels, $24) and Frog Leg En Persillade ($24+) among their locally sourced starters. For a sharing portion, try their Whole Roasted Santori Kampung Chicken ($62). Mains like Vongole ($24) and Risotto Aux Champignons ($24) are also available.
The brunch menu is only available on weekends, you can expect dishes like the Vineyard Big Breakfast ($25), vegetarian-friendly Egg en Cocotte ($18) and Naked Mushroom Quiche ($18) that are locally grown.
Assiette Decouverte
The Assiette Decouverte ($18) is a great starter for those who want to try a bit of everything. This dish comes with three items: zucchini croquette, frog legs, and potato pave.
The zucchini croquette had a crispy crust and a creamy center with thinly sliced zucchini. It had a relatively light flavour, but the spicy sauce on the side complemented it well.
The frog legs were surprisingly meaty with a satisfying chew and still tender on the inside. The potato pave was crispy while the interior remained soft.
Lumina Lamb Rump
The Lumina Lamb Rump ($38) was tender and not gamey at all. The accompanying side of potato mousseline complemented the dish well. However, we think that the seasoning could have been stronger to enhance the overall flavour profile.
While the lamb was good, it lacked a certain depth of taste that could have elevated the dish. Nevertheless, we think it was still well-executed.
Lion’s Mane Mushroom Steak
If you are looking for meatless options, Lion’s Mane Mushroom Steak ($22) is a great option. This dish features a locally sourced Lion’s Mane mushroom, seasoned with the steak rub. The mushroom had a juicy, and meaty texture, carrying the heavy, smoky flavour really well!
Dark Chocolate Mi-cuit
The Dark Chocolate Mi-cuit ($16) featured a warm, gooey center of dark chocolate and served with vanilla ice cream. and crushed Biscoff cookies. The creaminess of the ice cream cut through the richness of the chocolate, while the cookie crumble added a nice crunch. A great finish to the meal!
Baba Au Rhum
Something more unique is Baba Au Rhum ($24). The dessert features an airy cake topped with rum, that is torched on the tableside to remove the alcohol. The cake soaks up the rum, making it juicy and flavourful. We liked the fresh citrusy notes from the lime zest!
French-inspired Food in HortPark
Vineyard in Hortpark hits the sweet spot for its atmosphere. It’s classy enough for a date night, but not so fancy that you can’t relax and enjoy a meal with friends. It’s a versatile space that works for any occasion!
