Inspired by previous-era coffee houses, the outlet is adorned with vintage relics that transport you back in time. The wooden furnishings and marble-esque tables amplify its nostalgic charm.

Designed with an open layout, they feature ‘al fresco’ seating on the sidewalk, reminiscent of classic coffee shops.

They have also introduced a unique coffee bean retail counter where you can select from six varieties of in-house roasted beans—a first for Toast Box!

Toast Box Tiong Bahru Menu

Toast Box at Tiong Bahru has a unique menu distinct from other branches, with exclusive delicacies, alongside their classic favourites!

From the main food menu includes items like Claypot Curry Chicken ($7) and Claypot Laksa ($6.80). There are toast options like Mum’s Luncheon Meat Sandwich ($4) and Egg Sandwich ($4)

This Toast Box outlet has new drinks like Sago Coffee or Tea ($3.20++) alongside Grass Jelly drinks ($3.50++)

Pair this with their selection of tea time treats like colourful Kueh Dadar ($4.20) or the lusciously sweet Kueh Sago Gula Melaka ($2.80), there’s a treat awaiting. Other options include Traditional Caramel Pudding ($2.50) or classics like Pulut Hitam ($2.50) and Aiyu Jelly ($2.50).

Old School Hainanese Pork Chop Rice

The Old School Hainanese Pork Chop Rice ($9.80)  captured the old school flavours, featuring a perfectly fried, golden-brown pork loin, coated in a sweet and tangy Hainanese sauce.

Claypot Hokkien Prawn Mee

The Claypot Hokkien Prawn Mee ($7.80) was generously topped with crispy pork lard. The dish was complemented with the signature belacan chilli sauce, adding just the right touch of spice to the mix!

Toasts

The Black Sesame Toast ($2.60) was an unexpected favourite. Despite not being a regular fan of black sesame, this particular toast has a rich blend of butter and black sesame perfectly paired, reminding me of the creaminess of peanut butter.

The Lemon Cream Toast ($2.60) is ideal for those who want a touch of zest without the intense tartness. It’s a refreshing change for anyone looking to try something different! For just an extra $0.20, switch up your toast bread to a Multigrain option!

Shaped in a block form, this French Toast ($4) has a pudding-like centre. Give it a generous pour of maple syrup to elevate the taste.

Desserts

Enjoy a freshly brewed coffee or tea to be eaten together with traditional tea cakes like the Roasted Peanut Cake ($2.80/slice), topped with peanut buttercream. Don’t miss the Iced Grass Jelly Soy Milk ($3.50) and Iced Teh Sago ($3.20) which is inspired by old-school bubble tea!

The Roasted Black Sesame Tea Cake ($2.80/slice) is a delightful treat to the past, layered in aromatic black sesame buttercream and a sprinkle of roasted sesame powder.

Whether it’s a treat for you or a gift for others, Toast Box @ Tiong Bahru offers both slices and whole cakes from their selection, including the All Chocolate Cake, Old School Birthday Cake, Almond Cake, and Coconut Traditional Tea Cake.

Speciality Coffee Retail Counter

This Toast Box branch introduces its first in-store retail section. You can choose from six in-house roasted coffee beans; including two Nanyang Kopi blends and four single-origin coffees.

They can also grind your chosen beans on the spot and encase them in a chic 250g metal tin – a thoughtful gift for any occasion!

First Street Teochew Fish Soup

First Street Teochew Fish Soup is making an entrance in ToastBox. Get ready to be spoilt with a choice of either Batang ($8.90), Garoupa ($12.90), or Pomfret ($16.90) to grace your bowl of fish soup. The fish has a QQ-textured goodness that we absolutely loved.

That’s not all! They have a collagen-rich Teochew Fish Porridge, with the option of Seafood ($8.90) or Minced Pork ($7.90).
