The Marmalade Pantry Anchorpoint Interior

Located at the Central Atrium on Level 1, it’s impossible to not spot The Marmalade Pantry. Decked in elegant forest green and wood elements, The Marmalade Pantry looks almost like a hotel lobby.

The cafe is split into 2 sections, an indoor area which sits up to 28 pax, as well as a 38-seater ‘alfresco’ area.

The Marmalade Pantry Anchorpoint Menu

From now till 31 August 2023, The Marmalade Pantry will feature a menu of Anchorpoint Specials, which features items from appetisers, mains, all the way to desserts and drinks.

No these are not wantons

We started with the Crispy Artichokes with Tangy Lemon Ricotta ($20++) which featured morsels of artichokes coated in polenta. It is also served with whipped lemon ricotta which added a nice creaminess and tartness to the dish.

Next was the Tortilla with Mesclun Salad ($16++) which saw a mix of eggs, cubed fried potatoes, caramelized onions and Spanish chorizo served with a side mesclun salad tossed in honey mustard dressing.

One of our favourites for the night was the Black Pepper Seafood Spaghetti ($29++) which featured al dente spaghetti noodles tossed in a delightful black pepper sauce. The dish also featured tiger prawns and squid which were cooked perfectly, and the squid did not have an ounce of rubbery texture to it.

Another pasta special was the Duck Ragu Pappardelle ($30++) which had pieces of balsamic glazed duck with sauteed cherry tomatoes and grated parmesan cheese.

The last main for the night was the Pork Cheek and Carrot Puree ($28++) which featured melt-in-your-mouth braised pork cheeks and smoky charred roasted cabbage with a sweet-sour tamarind and ginger carrot puree.

For a sweet ending, the Honeycomb Poached Pear ($16++) combines an aromatic ginger flower syrup poached pear with velvety whipped mascarpone and honeycomb for a melodious harmony of flavours and textures.

The above specials will be available along the classics, such as the Spicy Crabmeat ($29++) pasta, The Marmalade Mac & Cheese ($25++) and the Sticky Date Pudding ($16++).

We tried their Kimchi Steak Fried Rice ($28++) which was served in a cast iron skillet, topped with slices of sirloin steak, sous vide egg, crunchy kimchi and seaweed flakes. The fried rice itself was decent, but we did find the kimchi to be slightly on the sour side.
