Get started with the Minnan Fried “Chicken” Rolls 闽南炸鸡卷 ($10.90), which surprisingly do not contain any chicken. Instead, they are made from a blend of minced pork, water chestnut, and spring onions!

The rolls pair well with the restaurant’s selection of chilled dishes, such as the Winter Melon Pickled with Fresh Passion Fruit 凉拌百香果冬瓜 ($8.90) and the tangy Pickled Cabbage and Radish 台式泡菜 ($7.90).

The mains captures the essence of Taiwanese cuisine with dishes like the Traditional Ginger Duck 传统姜母鸭  ($19.90 for Regular, $36.90 for Medium), which is falls-off-the-bone tender. As an alternative, the Farm Chicken with Spring Onion 农家葱油鸡 ($18.90 for Half; $33.90 for Whole) is a good choice!

If you’re a fan of carbs like us, the Cabbage and Hokkaido Scallop Stone Pot Rice 高丽菜带子石锅饭 ($19.90 for Regular;  $32.90 for Medium) is the perfect option, made with top-grade short-grain rice and has a delightful smoky essence.

For a comforting choice, Ah Ma’s Rice Vermicelli and Taro Soup 阿嫲芋头米粉汤 ($19.90 for Regular; $32.90 for Medium) is your go-to choice. This dish is rich in flavour, with a hearty pork bone broth, and comes loaded with various ingredients like clams and taro!

Other dishes include the Salt and Pepper Pomfret with Crispy Garlic Chips 椒盐蒜香鲳鱼 ($35.90) and the Silken Tofu with Pumpkin and Crabmeat 金瓜豆腐 ($18.90).

For dessert, try the Double-Boiled Apple & Pear in White Fungus Soup 银耳苹果炖雪梨 ($7.90), or the Chilled Oolong Ai-Yu Jelly with Green Lemon 青柠乌龙爱玉冻 ($6.90), both providing a sweet and light finish to your meal.

Premium Teas From Taiwan

Song Yue Taiwan Cuisine offers a range of premium Taiwanese teas, directly sourced from small family-run tea farms. Enjoy selections like Taiwan High-Mountain Tea 台湾高山茶 ($5.90/pax), Dong Ding Oolong Tea 冻顶乌龙 ($5.50/pax), and Jin Xuan Tea 金萱茶 ($5.50/pax)!
